Does discarding from the deck trigger these cards?
Tiny Knight of Evil Fist of Jaraxxus Hand of Gul'dan Blood-Queen Lana'thel Silverware Golem Malchezaar's Imp Boneweb Egg Soulwarden High Priestess Jeklik Lakkari Sacrifice Cruel Dinomancer Clutchmother Zavas
No, as the effect is "destroy." It would definitely say discard if it meant that.
This is the worst card we've seen in HS for a while, unless there are some synergies with this effect. If not, it's unplayable trash.
This is "the best" kind of comment - this card will stick wit us for 5 more expansions in standard, but noooooo - trash.
Also the easiest idea from me - for example someone plays Oh My Yogg! and enemy triggers it with this ...
But nooooo....
Soooo? I'm not predicting what will happen to this card in future expansion. Im judging it as it is now, utter trash, unless - as I said before - it will get some support (benefits from burning your own deck). Otherwise it will suck forever, because no archetype, in no meta will be interested in destroying own board and / or cards in the deck.
Unless there's some unrevealed synergy with destroyed cards or quickly emptying your deck, I don't see why you'd ever want to use this. The drawback is too severe, at best you're spending this and trading a card for every card you kill. Kill two of your opponent's cards at the cost of three of your own? No thanks.
It can be used as long as you only wound it. Anyway, trash.
The thing that really ruins it is being symmetrical.
If they somehow make deathrattle viable again this is even worse
Support for Mecha'thun, other than that this card will not see play, there are good enough options already for early AoE that isn't bad against control either.
Hm, the more I think about this the more I kinda think it might be okay. In aggro match ups your deck count isn't relevant, and in control match ups, you're typically only going to destroy a few minions, and maybe not even destroy them because minions tend to be taller.
I think it's probably too complicated, and there's too much of a psychological effect of "I'm destroying my own cards!!" to really use it. But I think there's potential.
In aggro matchup you don't want to wipe your own board, which this card certainly does.
Disastrous in mechathun decks. You want to destroy your combo pieces and concede on turn 4?
What? When you're playing a control deck and you're playing AGAINST an aggro deck. Not when you're plaiyng aggro.
Kind of a cool card. Basically a big board clear thats more effective at clearing tall boards rather than clearing wide zoo boards. Play this in the mid-late game then finish off big threats with mortal coils and school spirits.
Probably better to just run twisting nether but the card does have a use.
Though in aggro match ups you can also kinda just win the game. Your deck count isn't relevant there.
This seems like it was printed either to be (A) a pure Yogg/Random "never lucky" spell when it's cast, or (B) there will be another warlock minion/card to combo that reads something like "whenever your cards/minions are destroyed, PLAY them"
this is really good at killing things. it hurts to put this in any combo-reliant deck tho so its hard to justify it. its comparable to Doom Pact.
What is this unplayable shit. Looks like another expansion in which Warlock gets garbage.
The drawback seems too severe. A control or combo Warlock is going to want to be using this, and neither is going to survive key legendaries getting burned out because they had to clear the board.
I'm not feeling this card at the moment. Unless they come out with something that makes destroying your own cards for a board clear more worthwhile... like some way to return destroyed cards to your hand, ala Soulwarden.
Not to mention, in the core set Warlock still has Twisting Nether and Hellfire, along with School Spirits from scholomance and Cascading Disaster from DMF.
Is this necessary?
i think the averge tickatus fan
