New Demon Hunter Epic Card Revealed - Sigil of Flame
Online Station just revealed a new Forged in the Barrens card: Sigil of Flame
For those curious how it looks in-game, there's a new icon (similar to the trigger lightning bolt on minions) that appears in your Secret zone. Mousing over it displays the card (to both players, it's not secret).

I mean, people have been posting images of cards similar to other cards since Naxx, its not a new thing :I
Think of it as like a soft Doomsayer card I guess, but what reality is it when DH needs to delay for control?
It's interesting because it's an open secret - you can't stop it but you know it's coming. It's kind of like a doomsayer type effect. But it's for Demon Hunter, which does not have any control deck that would want this kind of thing.
this will look sick in golden
I don't know how powerful this would be, but this card is so awesome because it really do what Sigils should do. They activate after some time and do some effect. This is so awesome that some mechanic from DH from wow is so accurately put in hearthstone. The reason why I like hearthstone on the first place was that the game really transfer spirit of Warcraft universe.
As a main DH in WoW I know that feeling of putting the sigil and waiting this 1 turn (2 sec) of activation :).
So much worse than this. Blizzard, pls!
This may come as a surprise to you, but whatever game this card is from, it's not Hearthstone, so it doesn't make any sense to compare the two.
I know, buddy. It seems to be too much for some to see such a comment that was just meant as a joke (Blizzard obviously copies every other card game, lol).
The game is called Spellweaver and, aside from its too low playerbase, it's a pretty cool one.
This Holy Radiance card is played in many midrange/control lists in that game, but it's a one-sided clear. I have some hope for Sigil of Flame, though, because non-interactive weapon-based or OTK demon hunters might find a room for this. It also seems like the opponent can't interact with Sigil, while there is some removal for Holy Radiance in Spellweaver's card pool. I wouldn't dismiss this HS card, but it could be too slow.
Omg they came up with a card similar to another card in another game! You cracked the code! 😲
This seems cool. I think it will play well in a control style deck or big demons. I hope we can get that archetype in motion...
Love this card!! I think it might be seen in Soul DH/ Control DH decks
Worst top deck ever.
This is bad
Opponent plays this. You play Magtheridon
Or you play your own magtheridon.
6 mana, deal 3 damage to your hero (the 1/3s are going face) , dont interrupptable doomsayer and a 12/12 minion
This should be a warlock spell.
I hate demonhunter.
They steal everything from warlock, like in World of Warcraft.
Sigils are not even an ability that warlocks ever possessed in WoW. They may have stolen Metamorphosis but this is a DH original. Also, it is fine for DHs to develop their class identity as they are fairly new. If they get this sort of obvious secrets... why not? Also, I know you :P
I don't think he meant that warlocks should have sigils. He meant that this seems like a spell that matches warlock identity and demon hunter is stealing this identity.
...how can they steal something that they had first?
The only card where Warlocks have some kind of delayed trigger is corruption and corruption never saw play, nor did Blizzard ever expand anything further on corruption.
Warlocks identity is clearly power at a cost sacrificing health, cards or even their own mana crystals to gain an advantage in some fashion and that has been reinforced for pretty much all previous sets.
Secondary mechanics are things like hand/deck disruption and destruction see Tickatus.
Tertiary is demon synergy, which is placed so low because tribal synergies have been shared by other classes.
Saying that this should be a Warlock spell is not understanding Warlock class identity.
