Kazakus, Golem Shaper, works very similar to how the original Kazakus from Mean Streets worked.

Choose a golem size (1/5/10), then discover an herb to mix into the clay for one effect, then discover a second herb. You get that golem, with those 2 effects, in hand. https://t.co/1KySQGRTVc

I hope at some point I can have a deck filled only with cards that check for duplicates
"Well there's Swiftthistle, and Earthroot, and Sungrass... Liferoot and Fadeleaf... Oh, and Grave Moss... Of course you can't forget Wildvine. Gromsblood! And Icecap and Firebloom too! And Mageroyal... aaaaannnnd... Kingsblood! That's your checklist, achievement hunters. ;)"

Seems good for value secret/thief rogue if that archetype will have enough support. There are no 4 drops currently used in that deck besides Edwin, which is rotating out anyway.
It'll be interesting to see what decks this can go into, but I'd imagine alot of decks can forgo the 4 drop slot for this, Priest or Mage are most likely candidates so far. Even so I think this card alone makes up for the majority of strong 4 drops. I'm willing to wager this Kazakus will be the "Zilliax" of the set, but still a bit early to jump to that conclusion, but so far it looks promising.
chat calling the card bad and downvoteing before we even know all of the effects the golems can have, okay?
Imagine making Kazakus a card that require real deck restraints for a high reward rather than a card with no deck restraints for a high reward, along with making it playable by every class rather than "every class but mainly classes that have cards for the archetype". And along making him preeeeeetty good, but not OP a heck so you don't make it a Zephrys-like that everyone want to include in his deck. And while keeping the essence of what Kazakus is : a card that give you a lot of versatility.
Yeah guys.
That's a GOOD design. I love it.
I wonder how the effects will scale with the mana cost. Like I imagine the "draw cards" effect would scale from 1 card for 1 mana, to 2 cards for 5 mana, and maybe 4 for 10? Other effects like taunt can't scale though. Maybe 1 discovered effect is non-scaling and the other is scaling? What are some other scaling effects you think? Could be board clear or armor gain scaling potentially like the original kazakus.
taunt, divine shield, reborn maybe? decent 10 mana minion
1st legendary to dust! NEXT!
Seriously. Also every time they add more support the Wild deck simply grows more powerful with no downside.
I like how this isn't a singleton card but instead a 4 cost card that prohibits other 4 cost cards (preventing you from stuffing the deck with copies).
Hm... that restriction isn't very difficult to accommodate, and the upside looks quite attractive. I can see a world where more decks than not end up making room for this guy, which concerns me a little, since it pressures Blizzard to crank up the power level on other 4-cost cards in order to compete with this one.
Prince Kazakus.
I just realized they probably made this restriction PURELY so you can't put both of the Kazakus cards in the same deck.
Cause the original Kazakus would not allow this one to work.
I guess they felt the value you could generate that way was too unfair?
no? you just have to draw them in the right order
True, both Kazakus are 4 mana, which means that the og Kazakus must be drawn before playing the new Kazakus
I guess. Is that worth it though?
Thinking about it, people put Zephrys in decks that had duplicates, so I guess this might be worth doing still if the new Kazakus is strong enough.
Awkward though, that's for sure.
Poor prince Valanar xdd
Card draw AND board advantage? With highroll potential? Yep, the new elemental is bonkers, will see play in many decks for sure. Kazakus is much harder to fit, the 10/10 option has to be amazing othewise its not worth the deckbuilding cost.
EAT MY GOLEM, JADE DRUID!!!!
