Core Set Has Been Released!
The new Core set has been revealed and we have taken great effort and put every new card in our database, ready for you to use.
Here's the Link to the Database for the Core Set where you will find every card from the new Core set.
Here's the Link to the Deckbuilder which now has a special tab with the Core Set. You can now create decks to your heart's content with the new Core set.
Below we have listed the new cards of the Core set as well as some notable changed cards. With 235 cards it is obviously too much to list everthing!
BONUS: User Hikarigami made an AWESOME graphic where you can see just which changes there have been and how the Core set was put together. Thanks for the amazing work!

Getting all dream cards at once with 100% of getting them again and again and some charge and minimal card discount You have some exciting and challenging combos.
All Classes will have 16 cards (against ~25 / class from basic & classic) + 75 neutral cards (against 148 from basic & classic).
Does anybody know if we will be getting dust for the cards that we already own, or should we disenchant them ourselves prior to the launch?
These are an entirely new set of cards, even the ones which didn't get updated.
If you already had Baron Geddon, you will still have the old 7/5 Baron Geddon which you can dust if you want. You get the new 7/7 version and everything else in this set for free, but you can't dust those and they might get taken away again once the core set changes.
No refunds, but usable in Wild/classic. May as well DE after launch if you're going to?
are you sure its usable in wild? I thought the core set applies to wild too. Correct me if I'm wrong
The core set can be played in wild in addition to the old classic/basic set. So you can play both new and old Jaraxus, Maly etc. in wild.
cool, Priest got the worst cards ever
jesus, crap cards except new Version of Shadow Vision
As usual, btw.
The new one drop is very, very good.
This is exactly what was missing for a long, long time. We can expect no more Charge abusage and much more deck variety. Card power is always relative. A Murloc Raider is obv. much better in a dedicated Murloc deck than any other aggro, non-murloc deck and that's why Backstab or Shadowstep saw play over years, because with better Battlecries and stronger effects those cards increase in efficiency too. Current weapon rogue always has access to Deadly Poison, but when Blizzard creates new decks and balances the game, they usually don't factor in Classic/Basic cards. And if so, they usually hope that these cards don't have such a big impact. However, cards like Kill Command or Unleash the Hounds where always part of the same deck archetype because with new cards they were still very strong individually. Also you would need to make sure that not too many cards can hit face from hand (which you can't change with cards that are part of Standard forever).
Now they have much more control about relative card power and can balance their new decks accordingly. I will say that the new expansion + these changes will feel a lot better.
Noooo my boy Millhouse
lol that's your problem for crafting golden cards. who cares about golden, this is such a waste of $$$ jesus
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the old versions of the classic dragons will not be usable in wild anymore and will be replaced with these new versions? Isn't that effectively removing cards you own that you can use on wild, since these new dragons are completely different cards and are even named different? Will we get a dust refund for Malygos for example since we can no longer play any of the wild Malygos decks?
The new dragons will be available in Wild as far as I know, just moved to the Legacy set.
I'm pretty sure, i have read somewhere that the old dragons are rotating to wild just like the rest of classic and basic. Also they did change their art because they are brand new cards in the opposite to for example Baron Geddon which is just buffed.
You're mistaken. The old Maly will be available to play in wild af part of the legacy set. New Maly can be played in both wild and standard during Year of the Griffin.
i really enjoyed the old art work, especially dragons.
can't say the same for the new art work tho.
looks a bit childish.
With the return of Dire Frenzy Sunscale Raptor Hunter can be the next Jade Druid.
Such a joy...
The shuffled raptor can't be more than a 3-4 ('a sunscale raptor with +2/+1'). You're comparing that to a 30-30. The shuffle is also conditional, it has to take damage and survive.
