Posted Feb 24, 2021 (Vol'jin Patch)Well, brawls were quite fun in 2015 or 2016, but with classic set going to wild and a tendency to repeat brawls over and over again (the new/old tavern brawls ratio is horrible right now) I don't see a reason to keep it alive anymore. Just retire it and let the people from TB team focus more on other projects

Posted Feb 24, 2021 (Vol'jin Patch)Eh. I still love Tavern Brawl. It's a bit of innocent chaos, perfect to do and try stupid stuff, complete some quests, have some fun.
It's not for everyone, but as far as I'm concerned, but it's the only place in Hearthstone that regularly throws out the existing rules and does something whacky. Hearthstone NEEDS a place like that.
Everything else is more often than not overrun with try hards and people desperate to earn rewards.
Let us have this ONE fun place where we can have some fun without consequences.

Posted Feb 24, 2021 (Vol'jin Patch)I agree with not getting rid of it, but I wouldn't consider this a fun place that's not overrun with tryhards. When I play 'build-a-deck' brawls (like the one where you build a deck with 2 or 3 cards), tryhards are almost all I see. I don't play those brawls much anymore, specifically because I don't enjoy playing with, or against, those people.
