If you only ever play modes with the core set, you can dust the standard set and use the loaned cards.
So correct me if I'm wrong, there's gonna be a core set, a standard rotation set and wild right?
Standard: Year of Phoenix expansions + Year of Gryphon expansions + Core set
Wild: Every expansion + Core set + Classic set + Basic set
Classic: Classic set + Basic set
some nice changes however would love to see 2-3 dmg for Lighting Storm with just 1 overload, not that I love RNG but 2 overload feels like a huge tempo loss in early game
Do we keep the new cards in the core set after rotation\ or can we play with them in Wild?? or we need to put dust only dust to make them :(
No, you do not keep any "free" cards in the core set after they rotate out. Sure you can play them in Wild while they are in the core set.
Tirion seems unchanged, has Ashbringer changed at all?
Don't believe so. Some will remain the same. Same old Tirion.
does ashbringer have gem, thats the real nerf
Felsoul Jailer omg they finally did it. a card that discards your opponents hand...
this will be crazy in wild with brann and brewmaster I think
All the classic dragons feel playable now! Ysera is fantastic but a bit clunky cause you need to have 5 open slots to get the full value but the fact that you can play her and sap something immediatly or get up to 10 extra damage (nightmare and then awakens with coin/innervate/bloom) is amazing. And Deathwing seems actually really playable and like it could become a staple for control decks. Malygos definitely will feel weird without the spell power but the effect is powerful enough to remain somewhat relevant.
can't see how new malygos can be useful, outside of some weird wild Dane druid deck. How is it powerful even, draw up to 10 cards(more like 5-ish) for 9 mana doesn't feels very good, giving me some sprint vibes.
Wow, overlord looks pretty alright. Gonna despise Novice Zapper tho
