The Hearthstone Information Mega-Post

Now with the Hearthstone Beta officially here, it is time to catch up on everything we have seen so far and get everyone caught up and ready to play some Hearthstone! We've prepared information for everyone who is interested in learning more about Hearthstone and to help ease people into the chaos of Beta. Beta Access Will Be Emailed Keys

Don't click on random email links promising beta access! Make sure your account is secure, read up on Battle.Net Account security.

The Hearthstone beta will use emailed keys. However, the email will NOT require you to click on anything to retrieve said key, it'll be right there in plain view in the email. Just take that key and plug it into your Battle.net account and you're good to go. Accounts are not flagged like they have been in other betas. 

(Instructions will be in the email you receive with your key.)

The Heroes of Warcraft

Nine playable heroes from both factions and each with their own unique play-style will be available at launch. These nine heroes represent the original classes that were available at World of Warcraft's launch. There is always room for expansion, so it is possible we will see Death Knights and Monks show up in a future game update.

How to Report Hack / Exploits / Cheating

Hey guys,

Please read this important and friendly reminder regarding how to report really bad issues like exploits, hacks, cheats, etc.

According to the Forums Code of Conduct, under NO circumstances should a hack or exploit be reported on the public forums. Because of the sensitive nature of hacks/exploits, posting on forums only ensures that other people are going to attempt to use them. Any poster who breaks this rule will have his/her thread deleted immediately and may be reviewed for a forums ban.

If you find an exploit or think someone is hacking the game, please send a detailed e-mail to hacks@blizzard.com.

Thank you for your due diligence with this. Reporting these issues is incredibly important, but at the same time please remember to report them through the secure channels.

Hello everyone, and welcome to Hearthstone Closed Beta!!! Below you will find the Known Issues list for. Please do not report bugs that you see on this list, as we already know about them, and help out other players reporting bugs by referring them to this list. 

As a reminder, this list will not list every bug that is active and occurring in Hearthstone. What it is listing are a select few issues -- chosen due to severity/impact -- that are active and confirmed as bugs by Quality Assurance with verifiable steps and an expected fix. We have hundreds of bugs in our database, so it would be impossible to list all known issues. Just because a bug is not on this list does not mean we don't know about it! In addition, potential exploits and the like will never be listed here.

Please note that documented bugs may not always be fixed in the order in which they were reported. In some cases, we may not have a timeline for a when a bug will be fixed and some bugs may not be able to be fixed at all. If we are able to verify that a documented bug cannot be fixed, it will be removed from this list.

The Arena

• Receiving a daily quest at the same time you lose your 3rd Arena game can cause problems dismissing the quest UI, making it hard to click the prize UI.

Gameplay

• Dropping a minion immediately after dropping a Coldlight Oracle causes display problems with the remaining cards in the player's hand.
