Sarcasm is a thing?
They wouldn't do a wild patch, though the nerf is due immune doesn't include 'can't be targeted' - which is due a Wild card, so they nerfed a standard card for no reason.
Now Bonecrusher is really a silly rabbit, at least the new signature DR treasure is good. Good nerf to DH.
Why is paladin getting a buff? (Serious question)
Says a lot about how broken hysteria was that that was the only way they could think of to fix it lmao
They actually nerfed fucking hysteria. Are you fucking kidding me?? The card is unplayable. Im done with this game
,...wow they nerfed Hysteria and made it significantly worse because of a broken wild combo. As if Priest and Warlock control decks needed that sort of a nerf.
Un-freaking-believable.
what about keywared ivory? why is she not offering new dual class spells?
The nerfs and buffs are okay, but they didn't nerf Warlock's discard hero power or even Mage's Mana Wyrm hero power.
Not a fan of changing Hysteria as opposed to the immune mechanics, tbh, though that would have a higher chance of breaking something. Does make the card a bit worse, but, honestly, 90% of the times you're casting it in a control deck (i.e. without the combo), you're using it as a clear or quasi-clear, so, on balance, no real change to the standard uses for the card.
nice, now i cant deal with the early stealth minions with my onws, i guess its better thatn nothing but was it that hard to nerf the Tiller?, the change also says "standar" and the reason was 100 % a wild combo. This confirms that wild card will get changes once per decade
horrible change for Hysteria, it kills skillful intelligent plays from priest narrowing his options, absolute bad take to solve a completely unrelated problem.... this shows Blizz inability to understand a game deeper
No secret mage nerf...
Secret Mage doesn't need a nerf
It does. Its too good for minimum skill needed. Needed to clear Diamond5 rank today and made a streak 11:1 without playing this deck before. To be honest, the opponents were terrible :/
Before Flakmage and flame ward secret mage lost to wide boards. Blizzard fixed it.
Before Darkmooon fair secret mage actually ran out of steam without alunth and blizzard fixed that.
In a spreadsheed from Vicious Syndicate it only slightly unfavored vs pirate warrior.
I agree on the board wipe part, maybe a flakmage nerf. Though generally I'm against them balancing wild, since it's largely pointless. You'll just go on to complain about the next "braindead" top tier deck that does ridiculous things. Only with uniquely broken decks is it worth nerfing in the format. Good stuff aggro/midrange is hardly worth bothering with.
"Run out of steam." Uh no, the deck is about the same in that regard. Sayge just replaces Aluneth as a value bomb. It's better mostly because the game will usually "end" (literally or figuratively) before Aluneth is relevant after passing your turn to play it, so losing the tempo short term these days is not worth it anymore. The only other value gain is faire games, which is only optimal as a one of because of how hit or miss it is.
The Duels changes are kinda eh. That DH Power needed a nerf, instead they just added a + to the text. The hunter deathrattle nerf won't do much. It's still going to let you dump minions early game. It won't do much late game as you only want minions on your board that have huge effects. At least the rabbit costs more.
The mana buffs make some of those cards more useful, but once again, the main problem is how slow some of those decks are. Paladin still has no way to keep up with all the faster decks.
Also it's cute seeing that discard warlock (the most broken and OP deck in the game mode) remains untouched.
DH hero power now cost 1 mana :-)
Take a look at DH Hero Power's mana cost :) - that's a pretty massive change. I do agree I'm confused as to why they didn't touch Discolock but felt like Deathrattle Hunter (A deck that in my experience isn't that consistent since it's highly dependent on hitting the correct buckets) needed a change.
The Deamonhunter HP is now requires you to spend 1 mana...
