Wretched Tiller & Hysteria Interaction Change Coming Next Week!
Hearthstone's developer Iksar just tweeted out that next week Wretched Tiller & Hysteria interaction will get changed. We don't know how just yet.

What's the interaction?
- You basically play Wretched Tiller, give him Immune with Deathspeaker, and then you play Hysteria on him and he'll attack all other minions up to 30 times (60 damage).
- Some other decks also play 2 Deathspeakers or Shrinkmeister to guarantee that full combo potential.
- For a lot of people, this interaction has been really annoying, not only because you can get OTK'd as soon as turn 5-6, but also, because this interaction can skip your turn if you have Ice Block or Time Out! equipped.

Nerf secret mage already
Mobile player here, animations just suck, like I still watching tiller otk while opponent already plays her cards (right after force roping me of course ) and even though I have 2 secret to dodge both otk, no , you just can't
WHY F*G WAIT THAT LONG! For the first time ever I was so close to Legend, but as soon I get to diamond 1/2 its fuckin full of explotings Fk's using this combo.
In situations like this one I just don't play the game. Hope you make it to Legend :)
Honestly, if you play this deck for real you are scum and are abusing a broken mechanic, the deck is easily counter with Mozaki mage, but they trigger your ice block and your turn gets skipped as they rope you out. So even if you can kill them the next turn it doesn't matter, you're just out of the game.
They said they needed more time to analyze the data, but that some change will be made in 2022, spring 2023 at the latest.

So...they will nerf wretched tiler after never being used in any deck or they will just keep the effect as it should be for real ? Like, if he has to face 12 life total minions on board he will hit 12 times x 2damage he already cause, this is the fair effect. What's going right now is a bug, hope they keep the effect as it is and remove the turn bugs
This frustrates me as a mobile only player. I play odd warrior to survive the 60 damage and my turn is still skipped. If I restart hearthstone my game crashes and I lose the game anyway.

Not only the latter just happened to me, but also I would have had lethal on my post-Tiller turn. And, being forced to skip that, my opponent had lethal on their next turn.
Fix can't come too soon.
Since that Combo appeared more and more often, i stopped playing Hearthstone the first Time after 6 joyful years

Imo secret mage is more oppresive and just as interactive as tiller otk decks.
I think it's worse. Tiller has only been around a week and already I'm beating it at 80-90% with hyper aggro, but it needs a nerf because it kills slower decks too easily.
Secret mage has been around for a while now and even before Sayge, it was extremely good. Now it's actually better with him and Rigged, way more consistent draw. It needs a nerf because it will still be around after tiller gets hit this week (hopefully tomorrow with the incoming server work they posted about in the Battle.net app).

While this is very subjective, I think the reason they are nerfing Tiller quickly and not secret mage is because secret mage is a "deck from the past" that people want to come back and play, and it is a given that the power level of Wild is broken given the masive card pool (take Legacy and Vintage format from MTG).
However Tiller is not a deck from the past, comes out of nowhere because of the interaction of three cards, and destroys all old control decks from Wild that players want to come back to, and has with little counter play from those decks (its hard to remove both Tillers or Deathspeakers without some crazy luck).
I think that's in line with what the team has been vocal about in the past few days.
I do think it needs a tweak because it is for sure overtuned. Raza could use a fix too but lately mages are one of the two things I see on ladder the most, so they could use the fix first... but I'm still on-board with reverting Raza to 1-mana hero power (another discussion for another thread!)
EDIT: I do want to add that from what I've seen on here and other forums, it seems like people want control decks until they get control decks, then they agonize about how slow matches are and how "oppressive" they feel because games raise their average time by 5+ minutes when control decks do well on ladder. I personally want more control because I miss the midrange vs control matchups (beautifully strategic games imo), but I get why Blizzard is hesitant to allow that balance to truly come alive. The community will never be happy, but they'll complain less when aggro is king.
