Patch 19.4 - Card Rarity Bug & Others - Returning Card Back, Chinese Skins, and New XP Feature

We've compiled a list of new things that weren't announced officially by Blizzard, but are now part of the game after the patch 19.4 update.

Earlier today we released the 19.4 patch that includes additions and changes across several game modes. As a result, a few new bugs have popped up! You can see the bugs we’re actively tracking below:

• We’re expecting to deploy a fix today for a bug where the rarity gems for Rally! and Hysteria are incorrect.

• We’re expecting to deploy a fix today for a bug where the card text for Shenanigans is incorrect.

• We’re aware that the art for Town Crier is incorrect and plan on fixing it in our next patch.

1/21 Update: We’ve just deployed a new build for desktop that includes fixes for the Rally! and Hysteria rarity bugs, as well as the Shenanigans bug updated above. The 19.4 patch is now available for Android devices, although these bugs will persist on Android until we finalize a separate hotfix. The 19.4 patch has not yet been released for iOS - we’re expecting this to happen within the next few hours.

We're looking into a bug with a couple of Darkmoon Races cards appearing to have the wrong Rarity on your client. "Rally!" and "Hysteria" are both actually Rare rarity, and will be fixed to show up that way. So if you run into something like the below, it's because of that.

Town Crier (wrong art)

Unannounced news

XP after each game

• You are now able to see the number of XP's you've got from your latest match under the victory/defeat banner.

Love Is in the Air will be available for purchase (probably on Valentine's day)

• Many believe goblins made up this holiday to sell candy. It's not true! They also sell flowers and perfume! Acquired from achieving Rank 20 in Ranked Play, January 2016 or when available in the shop.

New Year of the Phoenix card back

• We rose from the ashes of Outland, wised up at the academy, then celebrated with a trip to the faire. Acquired by winning 5 games in ranked mode, February 2021.

4 New skins

• You'll be able to obtain these skins if you buy a new unannounced bundle (we don't know exactly when and for how much).
  
  • Normal Bundle (4 skins) - probably the most expensive one
  • Mini Bundle (2 skins)
  • Guan Yu Uther Bundle (Uther skin only)
  • Zhuge Liang Anduin Bundle (Anduin skin only)

Answer: tl;dr its an era of Chinese history that gets often represented in media!! Basically, three kingdoms at odds and the "leader" of each kingdom (plus a love interest) are the characters that we represented for hero skins!!!
