Where can I see these reveals live?
Twiiter: @PlayHearthstone
I came here to bitch on Blizztards same as last 6 months but after reading "will be available for purchase from the in-game or web shop for $14.99/14.99€ or 2000 Gold" I'm just speachless. These greed boyz give us cards for 2k gold only. This is really nice! Hope for the future! Im really in good vibes, no sarcasm here lads.
2´dmg then 2 dmg is better then flame strike btw you can clear alot more with that
Guys shall we start arena and leave on 2 win they give new ticket right ?
For normal expansions yes, but with a mini expansion? Who knows, probably not.
What does it mean 35 new unique cards (66 in total)?
2x 31 commons/rares/epics + 4 legendary
You get 2 copies of each non-legendary card.
4 Legendaries and 31 others.
4 + 31 * 2 = 66
4 legendary and two copies of commons, rares and epics
how can there be only 4 legendaries? some classes aren't getting one? was also hoping demon hunter would get a prime.
the question is: "will they do this with every miniset?"
because they do it for the first, people will think they will do on the next as well, and open all packs... no generous deal and everyone goes out of their mind...
If that happens, they will provide one. And they'll laugh because the people begged for a pay2play option, so it won't even have to be a "generous" alternative.
I dunno if they're going to literally do these every set or not. Or if this is just for the end of the year set to bridge the four month gap between set 3 of the last year and set 1 of the next year. (Which is the longest content gap)
Primarily this is a loss leader for them I think. They wanna keep people's interest in the game more than a profit incentive.
Wow landslide 2 mana flamestrike on turn 3 with the spell damage weapon.
Set looks cool, the 3 announced cards look fun and the bundle seems great value. I'd be very happy with 3 of these per year, should completely shake the meta up which will be refreshing, it's badly needed at the moment.
So you want to hoard gold and have nothing new or extra to spend it on? What's the point of the gold then?
What people want to spend it on is packs on the next expansion, when the cards matter the most. This basically is an additional expense undercutting your progress next expansion. Just as Activision planned it.
While I definitely like that we can just purchase it all right off the bat (and I'm planning to do so, myself), I really wish they would have told us about this setup much sooner. Many players have had a bunch of packs waiting to open for months now, and that just feels bad. I don't think they should have added these to the packs at all, I think they should be rewards for a solo adventure like they used to do.
In the end, though, I'm more happy that they're releasing them like this than I am upset I've had packs sitting around for no reason. I just don't see why they had to wait until 2 days before the launch to tell us anything about it.
