Choose Your Champion Presented by T-Mobile Returns for the 2020 World Championship!
The Hearthstone 2020 World Championship kicks off on December 12. Eight of the best Hearthstone players in the world are representing the Americas, Asia-Pacific, China, and Europe. Qualified players will compete for their share of the $500,000 (USD) prize pool and a spot in the Hall of Champions!
You can choose one of the eight competitors as your champion and be rewarded with Hearthstone card packs based on how well they perform! Simply click the button below to log into your Battle.net account and choose a champion to cheer for—but remember, you cannot change your selection once you have chosen!
Just for participating, you will receive one card pack from Madness at the Darkmoon Faire. You will receive one additional card pack each time your champion advances—to the quarterfinals, semifinals, or finals. If your champion plays in the finals, for example, you would earn four total packs (including your participation pack). All card packs are expected to be delivered to you in-game within 30 days after the World Championship. Voting ends on December 11 at 11:59 p.m. PST.
Seeing your champion succeed isn't the only way to earn packs. T-Mobile customers can also earn an additional pack through the T-Mobile site. After claiming your code, you can redeem for a free pack at Battle.net/redeem.
With so many incredible players competing for the Championship, we figured a guide to each player’s strengths, weaknesses, and signature playstyle would be helpful. Scroll down for a quick visual rating of each player and to see why they may be the next Hearthstone World Champion!
Who will claim victory and join the Hall of Champions? Let us know in the comments, or tweet your prediction using #CYCWorldChamps. Be sure to tune in for the 2020 World Championship at YouTube.com/HearthstoneEsports beginning on Saturday, December 12 at 8:00 a.m. PST!
Its not fair as it is just for the T-mobile users others also wants to participate in the tournament.
Now I don't want to play this game.
This only says that you are lucky, nothing more. HS has become a RNG fiesta, skill used to matter like, 60/40 vs luck. Now it's 20/80 in favor of the luck factor.
Does anyone know if they will post the decks before the beginning of the tournament?
no? I served the Black watch royal highlanders regiment of Canada and This regiment got honors from the Queen in world war 1 , just google vimy ridge.
Also some countries in europe still pays homage to canada every year for what we've done.
If you'd stop thinking only americans gave their life to this war maybe you would open your eyes more.
The overlord operation (d-day) the americans took the easiest beach and gave the hardest to breach to the UK and Canada.
Not to mention Dieppe and Italy campaign. Well, Omaha was a bloodbath tho, I wouldnt call that the "easiest" beach.
Right, what? How on earth is that greedy? If anything, it would be more greedy to have a promotion for more countries.
Do you people even understand the meaning of the words you use?
bankyugi seems the most cool one that what i picked
Voted for Anton Chigurh aka bloody face, let’s hope it pays off.
loool only 4 packs im not even going to vote this is offensive
whats the best choice? dont know all the players
its hearthstone, man. theyre all really good players. just pick the one you think is the luckiest
it's always been a guessing game. a lot of people pick their home country. Hearthstone randomness is enough that any one of these people could win it. Even a guy off the street could come in and win it with the right RNG.
Don't believe what these guys said. While yes, hs is basically rng in almost every way, picking a winner is not just 'try to be lucky'. I remember long ago, I saw a reddit post about worlds in which someone analyzed every player, their latest performance, their knowledge of the game etc. I ended up pickin the champion he suggested and I won 4 out of 5 packs if I recall correctly. So yeah, there is a lot of terms to take into consideration but because I didn't find a post related to this event yet (maybe because there is still time for people to analyze every player), I already chose my champion because I don't want to forget about this event somehow and miss those free packs. I heard people saying that SilverName is actually a good player and he tries very hard to win so he got my vote.
It's hard to say. Bloodyface participate for the 3rd time in worlds so that could be a good choice. Also Jarla is a good pick. Jarla has good plays, he deserved to long to participate in worlds. I voted Jarla but it's your choice
I have T-Mobile in Poland. But we have 9 digits numbers. So... LOL!
Aaah, good that they are sponsored by T-mobile, i guess, this company couldn't have afforded a tournament with their own money!
Small Indie Company :)))
Wtf, why is this promotion only for US users? Blizzard getting greedier and greedier..
Game's unplayable, but watch our crappy tournament! Maybe it'll get decided by Yogg and the disgrace of Hearthstone Esports will be complete!
