Welcome back to our fifth installment of Deck Digest -- an article centered around a collection of thematically themed decks.
Madness at the Darkmoon Faire marks the return of the Old Gods to Hearthstone. First introduced in the Whispers of the Old Gods expansion, each Old God is a 10-cost minion featuring a powerful -- often game changing effect. While their power levels vary, each of the Gods warrants constructing your deck around them. Below we pick what we consider to be some of the more competitive options for each.
C'Thun, the Shattered
At the start of the game, C'Thun breaks into 4 separate pieces which are shuffled into your deck. Each piece has it's own effect and when you play them all you'll then have C'Thun, the Shattered shuffled in.

some nice decks here gonna play them but right now focused on roping and playing ranked to reach level 50. roping for life.
Meanwhile in reality - DH and Paladain run none of these fancy old gods and trash everyone.
By the time you get to play any of these 10 mana monstrosities you already won the game anyway. Sadly great design concepts get overshadowed by lame face mechanics as always...
oi ya wasteman paladin is fine cuz blad srs
rank 25 players don't understand the importance of aggro decks in the meta

Hearthstone has become a slot-machine card game. And the new Yogg is the biggest insult to common sense so far.
Remember when they nerfed the old Yogg because people played him when they were behind ? Yeah well the new yogg is here to replace that now lmao
Dear god Hearthstone has been always like this. Why do you even play the game if you don't like it? Go and play Magic or Legends of Runeterra for a more linear playstyle...
HS was always random and thats what it makes so fun. If you cant deal with RNG then maybe HS is not the place for you.
Oh, mind you guys, I deinstalled Hearthstone a good 10 days ago. I switched to Gwent and will never return. I just made it a mission to try to open the eyes of my fellow brethren who are still under Blizzards spell and think Hearthstone is worth the while.
Good for you that you found a replacement you enjoy. Now, please stop your 'mission' and let people play the game they enjoy. Nobody likes preachers.
No, I don't think I will.
