Upcoming Hearthstone Content Announcement at PAX East
Blizzard has yet to announce this through official channels, but the PAX East schedule has gone up and Blizzard has their own panel at 10:30 AM on March 6th. The description for the Blizzard panel states that Eric Dodds will be making an announcement about upcoming content for Hearthstone! There will also be announcements of upcoming Heroes of the Storm and Overwatch stuff!
Last PAX East, Naxxramas was announced, could it be another adventure? Check out the full PAX East Schedule here.
retro hype
26 more cards to be revealed. It's going to be very INTERESTING.
need more announcing!
Can't wait to see the new cards!
I'd like to see a disease type card - i.e.: Minion takes 1 dmg per turn; once it dies it moves to one random enemy minion
Thematically my favorite adventures would be (I'm excluding Icecrown since it's too similar to Naxx in terms of theme):
1- Ahn'quiraj (Ruins and Temple together)
2- Serpentshirne Cavern / Tempest Keep the Eye (together cause one is too small)
3- Zul'Gurub / Zul'Aman / Zul'Farrak (WTB Hakkar card)
4- Karazhan
5- Ulduar (Maybe together with Uldum)
6- Caverns of Time
7- Blackwing Lair
8- Molten Core
Wish would be some good news :3
ahn qiraj would be good. Cthun is inc
Nice!
Excited. But make more good contents!
They'll tell us, "New Hearthstone Adventure Soon!™" CAN'T WAIT!
I'll like to have new adventure but the cards must be epic! I assumed the Pandaren classes.
need FREE cards, or us f2p cant keep up
I am a f2p and I don't need free handouts, just save up some gold and you'll be fine.
Playing f2p is pretty manageable in my opinion. Do your daily quests, get all of the "hidden" quests and try to save up gold, no you won't have every legendary in the game, but that's not mandatory, I mean look at Zoo, no epics, no legendary creatures and yet dozens of people have gotten to legend with it.
I think because we already have cards from the Ulduar Raid, (such as Mimiron and Flame Leviathan,) it is more likely that the next adventure might pass on Ulduar. I believe it is far more likely to be Karazhan or something that will promote an archetype different from deathrattles and mechs.
Karazhan would present a lot of ethereal and other beings from the astral plain, demons, and 2 dragons.
Caverns of Time would be dragon heavy.
Ahn'Qiraj could bring forth a Silithid Archetype.
Sunwell would be demon focused. (+ 3 dragons)
There are just a lot of possibilities and all would be great and improve the meta inside the game.
Pretty sure Ulduar is still possible FL and Mimiron are both the first Boss in their respective wings they didnt make make an Anub'rekhan card they just made the final boss of the wing.
from this info we can say:
-adventure cards only give away cards of the last boss in thier respective wings
-it is possible to have a legendary boss card that is not the last boss on their wing and come in a later or different expansion.
-there is still hope for a GRAND WIDOW FAERLINA ( i know the Innkeeper wants that too from the way he announced her at a start pf a batlle.)
though blizz might throw us a curve ball :)
Mimiron wasn't the first boss in his wing. Even though you could pretty much pick if you went freya/hodir/thorim/mimiron first (and auriaya, I suppose), most people did Mimiron last as he was generally considered to be the hardest of the bosses I mentioned.
I think it's going to be a tough fit to release Ulduar as an adventure right now. If they did pick Ulduar, it would probably include some more mech cards, some twilight guys and perhaps some iron dwarves thrown in for good measure. Some of the big players like Flame Leviathan and Mimiron are already in the game. I don't feel like that's a good angle to get players interested in their new adventure mode right now. From a marketing point of view, they'll probably want a new hook to get players interested. Naxx had deathrattle, GvG had mech, and their new adventure will probably include some form of signature aswell.
That's a lot of "probably", but it's my best guess that Ulduar won't be the next adventure / pve content. I'm not quite sure what they WOULD have planned, but a lot of people are saying karazhan, and that seems to be a good candidate. Big instance, lots of bosses, lots of variation, a good pool to pick cards from.
At this point, it's still anybody's guess, but I'm looking forward to the reveal at PAX East that's for sure.
And now we wait...
All aboard the hype train!
