This may be one of the worst Brawls they've created (if not the worst)... I don't tend to complain, I generally love the brawls. But this one is unfun. And it blocks me one weekly quest, so I've to play it.
If at least you could create a deck, you could play around the randomness...
trash brawl good job blizard you know how to make fun to the players
This is the most fustrating brawl ever ... I've played it previous as well but never got so unlucky like this time ...
Total waste of time , I've play 8 matches and still didnt got the win yet. Its very tilting and fustrating.
I felt exactly the same. This garbage should have been done with a created deck, not with an RNG deck. That way it'd have been fun.
Playing 1 cost minion -> Cataclysm .Thanks, i'm out.
Utter waste of time. Time was you could at least still use the brawl to complete quests or get class exp, but they're not even good for that any more.
At first these bullshit coinflips were just zero fun (and I don't mean to be the one that goes "stop liking what I don't", but I really just can't wrap my head around who or why people enjoy these super RNGfests) and now it's zero point as well.
addendum: I support these still only rewarding a classic pack, because that way I don't feel compelled to torture myself with them.
Yesterday i was playing with a friend and it was hilarious for me;
1st match:
turn 1: I summon Spirit of the Rhino and it cast Nagrand Slam (won at turn 4)
2nd match:
turn 1: I summon a Wisp and it cast Survival of the Fittest (won at turn 5)
Yogg, i love this brawl xD
Played 3 brawls - in first two I was at Yogg's blacklist, so my opponents had luck, not me. Pissed off I tried 3'rd time _ I was trying so hard, planning, thinking, trying do safe plays = I won.
After that I saw, that the reward is a classic pack - not from Darkmoon - I was another time actually pissed of.
But when I opened in that pack Cairne Bloodhoof & golden Tirion Fordring I was like- OK Blizzard, OK, was worth going through this 😅
This brawl is so fricking bad! I'm just watching my minions kill themselves when I play them meanwhile my opponents keep flooding the board with spells that summon big minions, literally 0 skill involved.
Yea but at the same time should be a lot faster than even playing a token druid matches. Also stats do matter cuz in most cases spells will either add random junk to your hand or do nothing. In theory u should win by not being too spammy.
this is one of the best brawls :D even funnier to play with friends!
Worst brawl so far. Had to play this shit for 5times only to get free deck. Get random cards witch do random spells. Next brawl can be flip a coin and win.
Its time to reward 100 gold instead. The classic pack is outdated af.
At this point, they might as well just make a Brawl that says "at the start of the game, each player casts 30 spells, let's see who wins."
So. Fun.
Didn't they at least cast a spell equal to their cost last time?
nope, a random spell, the equal thing is for the valeera's brawl, where you cast a spell and get a random minion of its cost
U sure ? Cuz if u arent playing like trash or memeing with a lot of small minions u can easily win.
You obviously missed his point.
It's irrelevant how easily you can win (or lose), problem is how RNG-reliant is it? And, oh boy, it's super-RNG, clown fiesta.
And I know the weekly reply „hey, it's tavern brawl, it's meant to be a light mode” -- and yeah, that's right to some extent. But then again so is the ladder... and has been for quite some while. But even tho it might be fun sometimes, it doesnt mean it's ok. And the amount of randomness is overwhelming at this point.
I get it that it's just a brawl, but player agency should be greater than simply tossing a coin.
I played these brawls to complete my quests ... but now ... play once and never again.
Great job Blizzard.
Some metric Blizzard has tells them that ranked players monetize slightly higher. So their solution in the new progression mode is to simply strong-arm all players into ranked by locking the 7 ranked wins quest in place and closing down non-constructed methods of progressing all quests. Great strategy from a bunch of idiotic pricks.
Can we already start receiving new expansion packs from Tavern Brawls?
