Should have been a "totemizer" and transform minions on the field into totems, also double pun.
Totem Shaman just doesn't work if it's not highrolling early and pushing incremental board advantage, and this 0 attack minion that surrenders the board for later gains will not be changing that.
On the other hand, this can show up from the hero power in duels.
I nearly spilled my drink. A legendary totem. What a laugh.
This feels like it's not enough for Shaman, the current worst class in HS. On its face it seems good - Totem Shaman is the only good shaman deck, and this card is definitely spicy if you can Totemic Reflection or Splitting Axe it. However, the more I think about it the more I feel like it's a miss:
- Totem Shaman is a very aggressive deck, and wants immediate value to slow grinding (it already has Mana Tide and EVIL Totems for slow grinds). This being an "end of turn" effect and not a "Battlecry" effect really stings.
- This doesn't hit totems created by something. By that I mean while it will buff totems you've already made, it won't buff future hero power totems or the totem tokens made by Totem Goliath or Runic Carvings.
- More specifically - at first I compared this to Prince Keleseth but the difference is that Prince hit everything, and this hits ~8 cards in the Totem deck + any tokens you've already made. That simply doesn't feel good enough to justify yet another 0/3.
I'm not even sure Totem decks run this - Current decks aren't even running Flametongue Totem all the time, so that doesn't bode well. But if they do, it doesn't seem like enough to help the deck out of the dregs anyways.
Should have been a battlecry IMO, the +1+1 on board would have been useful for trades.
Sure you would put this in a totem deck, but doenst look very exciting
A legendary card... it should buff itself, too. Why not?
Seems like the stats are so-so for the cost, and it will get killed in one turn like this...
yeah dumb it says all other, should buff itself lol
Imagine unpacking this, lmfao. Great set.
Most boring archetype and they still doing cards for it..
Pretty textbook "worthless shaman legendary" tbh
since its legendary it would be nice to see: at the of your turn give your totems this game +1/+1
400 Dust.
The schami hate is still there. How many totems are there? 4-5?
How many are playabale? 2-3 maximum?
Insane value:
3 mana do nothing in this turn in an aggro set up..
WOW. It will never survive more than 1 turn so it wil buff maximum 10/10 inside the deck.. lets compare with embiggen xD
It's not worthy to be a legendary. Even an epic is to rare. At least the chances to get it arent that high xD
Meh. I don't enjoy decks like Totem shaman. I don't like playing against them. They either draw great and you have no answers and then you feel like you never had a chance or they get an awkward hand and they never felt like they had a chance.
It just usually doesn't feel like a competitive match. It might average out as 'fair' but I don't like it.
what is this. WHAT IS THIS.
You are already showing me a buff card into a arc type with minimal draw!!!
Drakkari Enchanter, Totemic Reflection and Splitting Axe synergy for us Wild players.
The card itself is strong, but it needs a deck to be built around it. Based on totems. That makes it a bit problematic.
The main problem is its legendary status, requiring you to draw it before you can do shenanigans like cloning and buffing it at the same time
(which, btw, can be done with 2 cards for 6 mana and leaving you with 2 3/7 steam-rolling totems plus potentially other totems of yours, buffed by +2/+2 each).
I wouldn't count the card off completely, though. Prince Keleseth saw plenty of play as a one-off. If a totem-themed deck can be made that will do fine *without* this card, then having one in it could be really massive, simply because if you get Totemic Reflection off on this, your opponent is in a world of trouble.
(note: the cloning trick happening in turn 6 is really problematic for your opponent if you played Totem Goliath on turn 5 *and* you're able to kill it off.....)
PS: will we see Wild Odd Totem Shaman with this? ;)
totem shaman is very close to being good and this isn't the scale tipper but it doesn't hurt.
Just by playing this, every totem geta basically +1 attack, which means you don‘t have to buff your totems with another card. And it‘s for hand, deck and board. So if you play Tour Guide on 1 and you normal heropower on 2, you buff your totem board on 3, just by playing this. I really think people underate this thing. I like it.
Lets just Shaman won't be getting the discard Warlock treatment of having 5 completely wasted legendary slots
I believe this card will have some sinergy with the legendary spell. Who know this work if we have something like a "C'Thun Spell", maybe a "Deck of Amalgam"?
