OK, so they push dude paladin, totem shaman, demon zoo lock, (maybe) beast/secret hunter. So eager to see some treant and murloc support!!!
F##k those devs and their 3-minutes-a-game obsession.
You know it baby, casino mage, good priest cards, some random shit for warrior. Wait till you see the next expansion. Murloc Hunter is gonna be tier 1
Due to the fact that ALL 4 old gods support control-style decks, i think its okay that some aggressive archetypes get pushed.
Classes that usually go control's cards didn't get revealed yet.
Probably priest, warlock and mage will get some juicy clearboards that will laugh at this aggro buffs, especially that the devs said they want to promote a slower meta now for the old gods to get in play. Shaman already got a nice clearboard, let's see what we get.
Wow, chill out.
The shaman totem is bad in itself. The archetype works exclusively on slots and has no way of returning it if it is lost. Too many terrible matchups. This card improves already good matchups and does not help in bad ones
True but if they print them some early game cards for gaining board like a 1 mana 2/3 totem with overload 1 for example totem shaman can be a real deal for top tier aggro deck. Or for example 2 mana deal 2 damages and summon a random basic totem.
Snowball cards like splitting axe and totemic reflection fking love this lol
Yes! The cost actually alright for 4 health and relevant tribe in shaman. The effect will be pretty good with Totemic Reflection and Splitting Axe. With TR you have to deal with 2x 3/7 that buffs all other totems for +2/+2 on turn 6.
Totems in BGs?
cool support for totem shaman
not sure if this alone can make the deck better, maybe more totem support is incoming this expansion
i really hope this because it’s one of my favorite archetypes
Yay, shaman got a buff to the deck that those with brains don't play. monkaS
Wild totem deck is Even shaman, this is odd, kinda weird how they eff up shaman by giving it a "good" card.
Is it just me or feels this a lot like a card (also) meant in part to promote Duels? I can totaly see this working great with the duels hero power aswell.
Definitely a fantastic card. It's guaranteed to go off at least once, so even if it's removed immediately, it's going to get value. Not sure if it'd be a good play but you can easily get this out Turn 1 with Lightning Bloom. With it having 4 health, it'd pretty much be guaranteed to trigger at least twice. Could be insane.
In standard, totem shaman has been on the cusp of being a really good, solid deck. It just needs a tiny bit more support. From the looks of it, shaman are getting it here and I'd be surprised if we don't see more revealed over the next day. Totem shaman might end up being scary once the expansion hits.
im disappointed, shaman needs to be strengthened, but not the totem aggro type, instead the control, midrange etc
this legendary is useful in exactly 1 deck type (aggro totem shaman), while other classes get cards that support many different deck types, shaman needs generally good cards not this specific
Yeah i don't understand what people see in this, it's just stats, nothing interesting and forces you to deckbuild in a strict way.
The current control deck is pretty good right now in this meta to be fair.
So far it only buffs 10 cards in a deck, assuming you run all totems as duplicates in Totem Shaman so I think it’d need a few more totems revealed within the set to be good. Otherwise it just feels like it’s one of those cards that needs an already wide board to be good.
Worth noting that turning your Totem Goliath from a 5/5 into a 6/6 isn’t too great either.
"bluuzzardd you bad why you forget bout shammy!!! None gud card 4 shammaaaaan, gonna leave this p2w dead game!!!"
Over the last few months I've been absolutely steamrolled by Totem Shaman a couple of times. It's usually a free win for me but when you don't have answers to their early game things get out of hand pretty quickly. I don't know if this card is enough to give the deck the consistency it Eys'orly lacks (see what I did there??) but man this is a solid card. Pitty it's for such a fringe deck.
