Do we know when the patch will go Live... Maybe its allready live??
I'm afraid Amalgadon nerf works in favor of elementals since other tribes often relied on it to get poison/divine shield to stand any chance against their late game.
Uh oh! Blizzard accidentally made the abysmally terrible Summoning Ritual 5 mana now, rather than 3.
What a mistake! /kek
With all this power creep they are going to have to increase the max health of all heroes. People are already dying to quickly.
Can anyone explain this?
Tess Greymane
My understanding is that you will refresh all minions of your last opponent even if the minions number is larger than bob's Tavern minion limit, is this correct?
Instead of random minions from your opponents board up to your normal number of cards in the tavern, you will get a copy of their board in the tavern.
AFAIK it will now always display ALL the minions your last opp had, regardless of how many there were.
(Before it was capped at the standard number for the Tier you are on)
So their solution to power creep and broken heroes is to power creep more heroes.
Pirates and demons are still hot garbage. Nothing has changed.
Junkbot seems very weak at tier 5 now, consider Hyena is at Tier 1 now.
Of course Mechs have magnetics to include microbots, and divine shields so can't be directly compared to beasts, but still it's a very different meta from when Junkbot was at 4.
Too bad they won't fix the core mechanics of battlegrounds...
Queen Wagtoggle looks better now than Jaraxus. It's easier to find 5 minion of different types and buff them +2 +1 every turn than to find only demons and buff them for +1 +1. Also, demons don't have divine shields nor cleave.
Dafuq? They buffed George and removed Nef in same go? That's madness...
I don't think I've had a single game with both George and Nefarian in the past 300 games I played since like July. George will be considerably stronger after the change, but it's not like he'll suddenly become meta.
Nefarian has been super week after like 1-2 months from the game's release. He used to be a high-risk high-reward type of hero, very weak in the early game but the strongest hero in the game if you managed to survive to the late game, but lately he had no chance to get to the lategame in the first place without a ridiculous highroll, and even if he did there were some heroes who were better at that too. There's also a bit less focus on divine shields than there used to be, and there's better counters to it too. Why would you play Nefarian when you can just replace your buff slot with a Ghoul right before the (final?) match and get all the benefits as well as another effect from your hero power?
I was surprised too, but George won't be OP because of that. I'm pretty sure they will put Nefarian back after they figured out how to make him stronger without making him too powerful. Making the HP cost 0 for example would be too strong, especially in the early game.
With elementals I have found it pretty easy carrying Nef to the late game. The main difference between Nefs hero power and ghoul is that the later counters your own divine shields and/or spores. I'm also finding myself in multiple games of stat fiesta where people run 2 spores in final comp just to counter giant taunts everyone almost always have. Also spending 20 gold over 2 turns is not cool trying and failing to find t2 minion when you can just HP and forget about it.
I'd love to see Nefarian get something of a "Ragnaros" treatment. Make the hero power free, but it doesn't turn on for a little while, since it'd be so busted in the early game.
Unless I'm misunderstanding something, Galakrond got terribly nerfed, right? His highroll potential is simply gone.
Wait how? It's a little iffy because you have to freeze the whole board now which isn't great but I don't know why the hughroll potential is diminished?
