ok, give control decks the same shit with mana ramp
holy fucking shit, zoo meta
because they retconned void-beings, but really the card might be ok if it had demon tribal.
what do you mean they retconned them? voidwalker is a demon...
That's because void beings were still demons until around 2 years ago in lore.
It's seems good mostly if you play first, you drop it on curve and your opponent loses 1 mana tempo.
Maybe there will be some alternatives to Warlock like Bloodbloom
In that case there might be a point to screw up opponents tempo while you pay life for minions and later restoring it via soul shards.
But yeah, too much to dream about.
Suffers from Glide syndrome
Deceptively bad. I actually like the design. Cards that effect your opponents plays are to be taken seriously. That being said I think its just bearly not good enough, because when on coin, its effect isn't powerful enough. If going first, you can really screw opponents curve.
Should have been 2 or 3 mana crystals. And different stats. Maybe a 4/2. I like that new Hunter Mech that is a 8/5. Maybe Blizz is listening a bit.
He looks like he would be the 2nd to last boss of a Luigi’s Mansion game.
Why isn't it a Demon?
I believe Revenants are Elementals, which raises a different yet similar question.

Same here, thanks good Sr. imik ;)
Prevents aoes, perhaps ramping. Possibly Good a cheap zoo deck with a lot of draw.
Pretty fair card. I can see some zoo decks running it
Felguard hasn't seen play since the Beta because its effect is completely detrimental to normal gameplay (building into bigger cards or combinations of them (aka why Overload sucks.)) The only reason that Felguard was even vaguely viable, but not competitive, was because it's a 3/5 Taunt for 3 mana. This is a vanilla 3/3 that impacts your opponent... but does the same thing that Felguard does, which is why it will never see play; on top of the fact that it's not a Demon, so it's not even useful in Demon decks. Plus, it's time-based (i.e. its effect is useless after turn 9.)
Clearly, there must be some other card(s) being released to make this even semi-viable because this is close to being one of the worst cards that's been produced in the last few years and is for a class that's the farthest thing from competitive at the moment.
You are misunderstanding why this card would be used. It is incomparable with felguard. Think of it more as a card that functionally tries to do the same thing that Loatheb did - played during a key turn, prevent your opponent from board clearing the next turn. Is it strong enough to do that and do we need it? I can't answer that. But you're thinking about the card the wrong way.
