Posted Oct 24, 2020 (Scholomance Academy)The question is: will you be able to play the corrupted versions of the cards on that turn? I assume not, since you need to already have the corrupted card in hand in order to activate its effect. So no, in that case that wouldn't be good.

Posted Oct 24, 2020 (Scholomance Academy)There are two different keywords here. Corrupt and corrupted. The second already has its corrupt effect applied. Y'Shaarj adds corrupted cards to your hand, so you can indeed play the updated version.
