OK I got Amalgadon and Lil Rag (both T6) from Djinni while being on T5, this card is OP
Windfury is getting nerf, ok. Where is the new juggler?
pogo = mech, it's just another mech strategy
I don't understand the Majordomo text. What is the difference? :P~~
Now, if you don't play any elementals, you still get +1/+1.
Still no demon buffs?? Was really looking forward to see them :(
Would be great if poison minions just got removed from BG, doesn't feel fair in any way whatsoever... They feel kind of fair in regular HS since they barely deal any face damage but in BG a poison minion essentially has infinite attack?
is the only way to defeat a +100 health minion....
Exactly, poison has always been the problem. A keyword that negates stats is just stupid in a mode that is only minion combat. Poison was balanced in constructed because it only harmed minions, and the minion did not deal additional damage to heroes.
If they replaced poison with "+50000 attack" instead I wonder how many people would still think it is fair. It's functionally equivalent, and brings up relevant questions like "Why is one adapt buff +3 attack, but another one is +50000 attack? How does this make any sense?"
So you move the djinn the 5 and so he enables you tripple into him on 4 and get elemental builds going in an even more high-rolly fashion? Also you can stay on 4 and get rag or amalgaddeons from it.
Bliz I don't think you thought this through, moving that guy to 5 (and reducing his health so he dies more easily) is an insane buff to elementals, on top of that you buffed the other early game eles. Just one of this guy = build your elementals. It was already the premium early tripple on 5 pick.
Rag is snowbally af. At least this slows it down and you can't immediate buff out your minions like before. Game should be a little slower thanks to it.
This and this...
good update overall! Sad to see the meme-pogo go, but it's for the best I think. Some strange tweaks and some tweaks i would've liked to see, but regardless, good stuff.
Where is the new game mode?
I wish they'd put this much effort normally into balancing the standard format.
These changes seem very good! Looking forward to a meta without Pogos and with Lil rag just a tad later.
It would've been better if jandice just wasn't an option to pick if mechs popped up. Getting rid of pogos entirely just removes a fun alternative.
Party Elemental and Arcane Assistant are already good. They don't need a buff. With +1 attack, Party Elemental is an instant pick.
Sucks that they are removing pogos... would like to see BGs having more possible builds rather than less.
I feel like Garr would have been a much safer card to move to Tavern 5. Just a big minion, and poison does exist.
Djinni right now is probably the strongest "economy" minion in the game right now. Pagle needs to attack. Everything else only triggers once. But Djinni has taunt and is now small enough that he's pretty much sure to die, plus he grants minions of a specific tribe, plus he generates minions to board, so he's got the most impact on each individual turn.
