They do rework and put heroes back in the pool. For example Brann, Patches and Rag all used to have different Hero Powers.
They did rework him. He's called Omu now. He's better than Bartendo in every way.
They try to, but sometimes they need more time, which is why they just remove them from the pool until they do.
What I see and try to predict:
Nomi is now win-more card, you need to be ahead to afford this or our meta really slower, without Lil Rag you cannot risk this card too often.
Small Rag is like old Mama Bear but slower, yeah great from Zerus or fast T5 tripple otherwise too slow. Without Temptest even slower.
Big Rag could be unplayable, one or two turns later and you are dead without heropower, Sulfuras buffs seem still OK.
Jandice without Pogos should be now as intended originally. OK
Selfless Hero and Deadly Spore nerfs don't mean a lot, mostly late game tech cards when 4-5 players are already dead, there will be enough copies for you. Also no more shitty turn 1 Selfless in tavern. +1 for me
Gentle Djinni could be OP, maybe only reliable way to play elementals now. For me this card was OP even as Tier6 in a good build. (I guess, you can still get Amalgadons and the others)
Maiev is still very good, Patches very boring and Sindragosa very bad. Chenvaala can be dark horse of the patch. But the best buff goes to Bartendotron IMHO, just let him die peacefully without any further suffering :) RIP
All other changes are trivial more likely, I guess.
Gentle Djinni could be really toxic if his ability won't be capped to your tavern tier like other card generation, now that you can discover him at tier 4 getting random t6 gift will mess up the lobby.
I guess it has to be fixed to your tavern tier only or otherwise you can just stay on T4 forever with one lucky tripple waiting for Amalgadons and stuff.
Also I forgot to mention that with Deadly Spore nerf, the T5 discover is even more high rolling now. Imagine, somone gets Nomi/Djinnni and you get Spore/Junkbot hopping to find your endgame build, it's game over. This was already pretty bad (who would ever tripple on T3 these days?)
They should distribute those 'endgame minions' throughout all higher tavern tiers starting on 4 or make them all T6 to be fair.
Nomi was a bigger problem than lil rag IMO
he was not lil rag is still good at 6...
nomi will sucks at 6 it will be to late
Nomi only buffs elementals. Lil Rag buffs everything, even cards that were previously almost unbuffable like Baron.
I'm willing to see if this works, though.
Part of why Nomi was so strong was because he was consistent, and that was largely because Lil Rag was on the same tier. With two solid hits on the discover, missing wasn't as much of a problem, and it was easy to get a strong build.
With Djinni instead of Rag... the play to get Nomi might be less consistent, might be a lot worse overall. We'll see.
I wish they would have changed more Elise Starseekers discovery should cost 0. But these changes will definitely be impactful. Also Gentle Djinni should have always been a 5.
pirate so small buff that there should not have done anything lol
While the Rag nerf is necessary, something just doesn’t feel right that the numbers involved with Rag don’t add up to 8. (Two +4/+4 = +8/+8)
Yeah, really surprised they changed the 4/4. Flavor totally gone now.
you get +1/+1 for free without buying any
what!?!? barov??? hello???
Pogo is out of the pool
Majordomo Executus
What is the difference??
I believe it's clarity to indicate that it counts itself
I came here to ask that same question. All they did was add the word "repeat" in the card text, but that doesn't seem to change how the card works at all. What am I missing here??
