NEW FEATURE – BATTLEGROUNDS PARTIES
With the introduction of Battlegrounds Parties on September 8, players will be able to queue up for Battlegrounds matches with more than one other player! Battlegrounds Parties will allow groups of players to queue Battlegrounds together, and it supports a full lobby for private games!
Here’s how it works:
- Up to 4 players will be able to queue for a normal ranked Battlegrounds match together.
- Once the group lobby exceeds 4 players, the game type will automatically switch to a private Battlegrounds match for 5-8 players.
Climb in rating with a handful of friends or invite the whole family to determine, once and for all, who is the true Battlegrounds pro of the bunch!
NEW HEROES
Lord Barov
- Friendly Wager [Cost 1]
- Guess which player will win their next combat. If they win, get three Coins.
Jandice Barov
- Swap, Lock, & Shop It [Cost 0]
- Swap a friendly non-golden minion with a random one in Bob’s Tavern.
Forest Warden Omu
- Everbloom [Passive]

Players with Battlegrounds Perks will have early access to these new Heroes before they are formally released on September 22.

UPDATED MINION

REMOVED MINION
- Mecharoo has been removed from the Battlegrounds minion pool.
I made an Evolve/galkrond shaman that has a plus 60% winrate.
Totem shaman is tier 1, or high tier 2, and woith new buff will be evn better.
The class is great, and its identity is defined.
Just cuz a class isnt as OP as some others doesnt mean it needs a retool, imo.
dude if you can do 50+ games on diamond 5+ with 60% winrate i will kiss your ass, just do it and post proof in deck section
I have Golden Shaman, currently sit at 59%, 24-17 I played this deck from rank D 5, and in Legend last month. This month I played 17 games with it. AAECAaoIAuO0A9PAAw6BBMaZA9SlA/mlA9ipA7mtA/6uA9CvA6K2A924A+G4A5a5A+DMA5bRAwA=
Totem shaman is really good.AAECAaoIAA+BBIYGkwmdowPPpQP5pQO2rQPtrQPbuAOWuQPgzAOW0QOh0QOm0QPw1AMA
and im at 62% with that list I made, using some overload mechanics in addition to the Totems......
I cant figure out how to take a picture of my winrate from my deck tracker to share here so u can see.
Im a home brew deck builder, who got Legend for the first time 2 months ago using home brew deck I built. I have no reason to lie to you.
YOu dont have to kiss my ass too much though. lol
Literally just look on hsreplay for totem shaman, there's 59% winrate builds.
around 2 weeks
what are you talking about ?
this might be the BEST meta ever wtf
How much time we have for full dust?
all good nerfs/buffs and additions
it might not be everyone's cup of tea, but the meta isn't technically the worst ever, regardless of how bad it can feel with all the "created by" around these days.
Hero power is not so relevant (for example Druid Rogue and Mage are strong and almost not using the hero power),
Shaman needs card draw and better tempo minions to become relevant, also it lacks a deck synergy themes to build archetypes, other classes have some broken concepts like mana ramp, Bombs generation, strong spell damage synergy, weapon synergy etc.
If that Darkglare typo sticks I'm gonna laugh my arse off.
"Refresh a mana crystals" English is too hard for small Indie company.
The visual above is done by a community member. The official blizzard post has the correct wording.
They're gonna "watch shaman" to see if more buffs are needed. I can tell you right now it needs more than buffs. Rework the whole class. Dropping random totems for 2 mana feels bad man.
I think the whole Overload mechanic is underwhelming. Skipping your next turn after playing cards is so bad lol.
Shaman is very strong with Baku in Wild tho.
I don't dislike overload as a concept, but when it's coupled with random effects it starts to diminish fast. Lightning storm is a good example and one from the beginning. Even in vanilla you almost always wanted it to roll 3 damage on everything since rolling 2 is just a worst Consecration. I would rather see overload used sparingly but on minions/spells that have much bigger impact so make up for the lack of mana the next turn. Or perhaps a cheap, evergreen card that removes overloaded crystals.
I think a lot of it is the cards are just bad.
Lighting Storm looks really weak these days next to 4-mana Consecration, 4-Mana Holy Nova, and 3-mana Breath of the Infinite. Feral Spirit*? So weak.
What I'd love to see would be Overload become optional. Pay it now, or pay it later. That'd be a nice early-game advantage in terms of being able to no-effort ramp out bigger cards, but later in the game, you can pay full price and not ruin the turn-after. That'd be a tonne of coding work, though.
However, just buffing a lot of the spells would go a long way, and would be a lot better to code.
* Why is it Feral Spirit when it summons 2 spirit wolves, instead of Feral Spirits? Odd choice...
I just went from gold to Legend yesterday with highlander Shaman, it can still be a good class :)
i still dont understand why no paladin nerf... is insane
and how is possible for a second priest nerf in a row !! if they are not even tier 2 !!!
How many paladins you saw in the GMs last 4 weeks?
Paladin is OVERRATED as fuck
