Scholomance Academy Decks - The Big Deck Preview
Spell Damage Mage (or Shaman!), Beast Druid, Duel Paladin, Aggro Priest, whatever kind of Scholomance Academy deck you are looking for we have tried to feature it in this news post, and more decks will be added during release! As always, these decks are mostly made without play testing, so expect a healthy amount of refining to be needed before we arrive at the decks that shape the Scholomance Academy Meta.
If at any point you feel inspired to create your own deck, you can go here to our deckbuilder. Remember that a good description and guide to how to play your deck and a mulligan strategy will greatly increase the chance of people upvoting it!

So you build a deck that you have no idea how it will perform, to play against other decks that you have no idea how it will perform. No one was playing meta decks, so we don't know how those decks will perform against them

Posted Aug 6, 2020 (Scholomance Academy)You're talking in absolutes for no good reason. Imagine spewing the notion that EVERYONE wants to play non-comp decks and have "no idea how [they] will perform", or the best part of your post.. "no one was playing meta decks...".
Streamers tried the shells for most of the meta decks we'll see. HS isn't rocket science; we might not know the exact 30 cards before a meta devlops of a "competitive deck", but most decks build themselves (give or take a handful of cards). Cards are released with the rest of the set and current rotation in mind.
And before you can use your narrow minded takes to rebuttal with a dark horse deck no one predicted could be viable, I'm not talking in absolutes and there will be exceptions.

We will do a Wild Meta Decks post soon enough to show what has changed in Wild, but for now the focus is on Standard, which will see most of the attention and most of the meta changes.

Not that this Evolve deck is good or not, but just generally speaking.
