Server-Side Hotfix For Cards Crashing The Game After Patch 18.0
Blizzard just announced a server-side hotfix addressing cards crashing the game after patch 18.0 release. This patch is currently being deployed.

We’re currently deploying a hotfix that will address the following issues introduced with the 18.0 patch:
On the new Scholomance Academy board, Transfer Student’s Battlecry will now add a random class card to your hand. This effect will revert to adding a random Dual-Class card to your hand when the expansion unlocks on August 6.
Magnetizing Missile Launcher and Venomizer will no longer cause the game to freeze.
Casting Spreading Plague will no longer cause disconnects.
All these fixes will take place on the server-side, so you will not have to download anything if you’ve updated to 18.0.

Posted Aug 2, 2020 (Pre-Expansion Nerfs)There is also a bug with Swampqueen Hagatha if you select Maelstrom Portal and play the Horror .. it causes the game to freeze.

Posted Jul 31, 2020 (Pre-Expansion Nerfs)The more DLC a game has (or generally the older the code), the weirder the bugs get when new stuff is being added.
I swear, in WoW it sometimes ends up with patch notes like "Fixed a bug where changing your Goblin's hair to pink would sometimes make the city guards half a continent away perform swim animations" at this point.
