Theorycrafting Livestreams - Thursday, July 30 - 9 AM PT
Blizzard just announced that the upcoming theorycrafting livestreams will be taking place on July 30 at 9 AM PT/6 PM CEST.
Quote from BlizzardJoin these creators tomorrow for some extracurricular experimentation in #ScholomanceAcademy!
The Headmaster expects your attendance.
I agree with what most say, what’s the point of letting competitive pro players figure out the meta before release? Doesn’t blizzard understand that people love experimenting with new recipes and play a few weeks of HS where your opponent won’t know what to expect which makes every theory crafting out there much more interesting! Then obviously after 1 month every possible recipe has been posted and people simple netdeck like sheeps!
I think this has to stop and I’m not talking about the theory crafting stream only but of the fact that decks are constantly proposed to people taking away all the creativity from this beautiful game
the HS teams even posted some tuitions on how to play aggro and other pro tips.. are we serious?
let the player enjoy the game by themselves and learn from their mistakes
Because there are players, seemingly a large amount, who don't find that aspect of the game all that fun. Deck building isn't for everyone and some people don't want to spend hours tinkering and experimenting. They have children and families, work commitments etc and maybe get half hour or an hour to play.
The majority of the player base in almost any game is fairly casual. The developers HAVE to cater to this. Go on a random 10 forums for pvp based games and you'll have a bunch of them which include threads whining about casuals. I've seen it in almost every game community I've been in.
We can't all spend 8 hours playing hearthstone, we have other shit to do. Just don't watch the streams and on day 1 do all the experimenting you want. There will be plenty of people who are in a similar position to you.
Who even asks for these? Majority of the community I see dislikes this shit.
Oh great, so now i can play against net decks on day 1 from the get go. Excellent.
When will they learn that this is how the game gets so stale quickly.
The game used to get stale quickly (even more) BEFORE they started to do these things... These streams at least gives you ideas for deck building. Hearthstone community lacks of soul. Most of the people will just use whatever is on top of Hearthstone. Top Decks and HSReplay.
Skipping it like every other theorycrafting stream. For me, personally, it ruins the fun of the first day of the expansion when everyone knows what is best because of these streams. There is no more exploring, no fun, no good suprise when most people will copy-paste the decks from streams. They basically decide and make the meta before the expansion is launched. So, yeah...not gonna attend.
no twitch drops :(
