Yeah, let me just cast Overflow and put a casual 6/9 with Rush and Wind Fury.
It would actually be a 8/11
Good thing it's not 2/4 or those stats would sound awkward.
The sweetest not-that-good play with this has to be either Ancestral Spirit or Vivid Spores. 3/6 or 5/8 Windfury Rush that, after it dies, gives you a new version of Speaker Gidra, with a fresh Spellburst, ready to be used again with another spell and two more rush attacks.
I can't imagine actually putting it in a deck, but it's just so cool.
I dunno how to feel. It's definitely a decent card don't get me wrong, but if you're using it early for board clear the stats aren't great without combining it with a low-cost spell, and imo there are better late-game options for both classes instead of playing this alongside a big spell.
Happy to be proven wrong though. Guess I'll have to play around with it a bit to get a feel on how good it is.
When you order Siamat on wish:
If only we could still get Greater Sapphire Spellstone in Standard.
looks nice
Even just this with Rising Winds is a 5 mana 3/6 Rush Windfury Draw one card. That seems preeeetttyy good
Shaman is gonna be awesome this expansion. I can’t wait!
I think it's really good as just removal. Kind of like a siamat. There might even be some matchups where you can play it on curve. It threatens a lot of face damage if it goes unanswered.
Very good to both classes, it looks a similar Siamat to clean the board and stay a value minion, nice job blizzard.
This one feels like the classic legendaries. A truly legendary effect with a strong class flavour.
I would say that even with only 1 mana spell this thing is pretty good and can kill two small minions
Definitely. Seems like a flexible card.
Not sure what Shaman spell it combos with best. Amazing for Druid though.
Just this + Far sight would be enough - 4/7 rush windfury + draw a reduced-cost card
Lightning Bolt or Torrent can let you kill three things (if two are pretty small), and maybe still have a minion around, so decent for turn 4. Invocation of Frost is also a nice somewhat-early play. Torrent can be used un-activated late-game, too, for a bigger Gidra.
This will really clean up after a Lightning Storm or Lightning Breath.
Ancestral Spirit is just too dang cute. 3/6 Rush Windfury, and you get a clean copy *with Spellburst intact* afterwards. Not that AS is worth putting into most decks. Same goes for Vivid Spores, bad but wicked cool.
With Bloodlust, you'll surely be able to power through any taunts, and let your other minions go face.

Not as great with Hex, since you'll probably have to waste an attack on the Frog.
This is terrible, a rogue gets a 2 mana 1/4 with better effect (Hanar) and they push this crap to Shaman. this card should be at-least 1/5 to be worth putting in a deck..
Bro I've seen you making negative comments on like 4 different reveals in a row calling things crap and telling people they shouldn't be hyped and stupid crap like that. Give it a damn rest. We don't care if you dislike Hearthstone.
Also, why are you comparing this to Hanar? They're completely different cards that aren't even trying to achieve the same thing and are not remotely similar. Completely nonsensical comparison. One produces value by generating secrets, and the other is for clearing your opponent's stuff and leaving a threat behind
Also this is a pretty decent card due to its flexibility. It can help to remove a couple annoying small minions early in the game or it can remove a couple 5-6 health midrange minions later in thr game. Not to mention it can be played proactively as a huge threat if your opponent doesn't have anything on board. It is almost never bad to play at any point in the game, provided you have a spell to play with it. So. "Crap"? Yeah, no.
