You mean in a Control DH? Im all up for that, hoping DH gets good control tools this time, but so far seems unlikely..
Now how to combo this with glide?
Well not all Neutral Legendaries had to be busted, this one seems "fair", and very specific. Not a card you want to pull from your first Unpackings tho.
It's nice because you are basically guaranteed the first card hit, and any others if they can't remove it.
7 mana 6/8 do nothing lel.
Meme card at best but neat idea. Imagine getting your opponents Galakrond or kalecgos
Ran-duin Wrynn has shown us time and time again that "drawing from opponent's deck" is (almost) always worse than drawing from your own, or even generating random cards from your own class. This does give you information as well, which can be powerful but wasn't powerful enough to make stuff like Chameleos a meta-breaker...so I am dubious.
Compared to other late-game value engines both new and old (The Lich King, Chromaggus, Ysera..even Shu'ma and Wrapped Golem, nevermind class cards like Skeletal Dragon, Ancient of Lore, Arch-Villain Rafaam, or Valdris Felgorge or the Galakronds) this seems pretty bad. Of the cards I just listed that see any amount of play, they crucially still have some sort of immediate impact in the form of Taunt, or they draw so many cards that they actually can snowball into an answer if played beyond turn 7. For the most part, for a card that costs more than six to see legitimate play it needs to have immediate impact - see Grommash Hellscream's Charge, Dinotamer Bran's Charge-d pet, Siamat's Rush + either Windfury or Divine Shield, or the Battle Crys on Alexstraza, Dragonqueen Alexstraza, Murozond the Infinite or the various Galakronds...Supreme Archaeology Warlock is a Tier 2 deck, and isn't even running Rafaam or Felgorge anymore.
This probably needed to be a 6 mana 6/7 or, even better, have Taunt or something to have a real shot at it.
I don’t agree with the premise that drawing from your opponent’s deck is bad. Presumably your opponent has not chosen bad cards to put in his deck. This is essentially why Priest’s ability to steal cards is generally better than Rogue’s ability to generate random ones.
Its op for control deck because u cant get bad card from opponent deck if it cost 1mana but will works only if there is a space for control deck in meta
Does this interact horribly with Bombs ? Or just skip them? I suspect your hand gets filled up with 1 mana bomb cards :(
Feels like a really powerful card in a vacuum but as others point out, the reality of playing this against hyper aggro is that you'll be dead first, and the reality of playing this against hyper control is that they'll somehow go over the top of it.
Lich King is a very similar card (it's big and generates undercosted cards in hand) but crucially that had taunt. Just like Lich King it will feel absolutely amazing playing this in clunky midrange mirrors or at low ranks.
You wouldn't play this in Warrior Bomb right?
Not with Skull 💀
Just make sure you play Plot Twist when opponent plays this so you can mill him one card Pog !
Glide is a HUGE card that will take advantage of this, mark my words. +4 of your opponent’s cards for 1-Mana each is nuts.
Pretty good card. Forces your opponent to deal with a big minion, while also putting resources into your hand. I dont think you need some degenerative combo with naturalize or whatever to make this good. The stat line is good enough for one card.
Wait until you get "backstab" from this
Seven-mana 6/8 "At the end of your turn, draw a card. It costs (1) Mana." is OK. Too bad you're drawing from your opponent's deck. :P
There are no good ways to force the opponent to draw cards in standard, so this card is wild only. Theres no way this will survive a turn against control and you will die before using the card against aggro if you play this on 7, you will see ppl high roll this from evolve effect and thats it.
I agree, there will likely be 0 place for this in a deck.
It is a gliding dream, though!, get it? gliding!? Glide-4 mana. I will see myself out.
