Well, to be fair, Rotten Applebaum can be pulled out by N'Zoth, the Corruptor, while Groundskeeper can't.
Wild only
Boring but just solid. Much better than Rotten Applebaum which actually saw play. So at 4 Mana and even more Heal, which can be even targeted on minions, this will see a lot of Play
The Requirement can be met easily, but Shaman still needs some Draw boost.
The fact that it is a battlery is also really cool, because it helps activating the shaman quest, even if you miss the potential 10 healing. Right now there are no good statted battlecty taunt (or even healing ) minions.
maybe because groundskeeper uses lightning based attack?
ah yes, probably. didnt see that.
With Lucentbark being dormant, this is a 4 Mana 8/13 with Taunt.
This goes right into my Survival of the Fittest list, its perfect! Seems druid is getting out of the dumpster next month 👌
a yeti with taunt and conditional heal. it's nothing amazing but seems like a pretty solid card you could put in a few decks. I really really like this simple yet effectiv designe. not my favorti card from this extension, far from it, but im glad we got it
Why do they make the same cards that have been done before? This is just Darkshire Alchemist with taunt, and if you don't have the spell you get punished hard. Mind you it is power creep to a extent, a taunting Yeti ain't the end of the world if you miss.
Darkshire Alchemist is 5 mana. This is 4. AND it has Taunt. It's not like it's an amazing card that's going to singlehandedly break decks but it's solid.
On that note, how much spell generation does Shaman have? Can't really think of competitivr high cost Shaman spells bar Earthquake and Scheme, so it might have to count on random card generation to proc consistently even if it's not totally awful without the heal
why should shaman play this
It's a chillwind yeti with taunt that heals.
Maybe quest shaman likes to heal for 10 occasionally?
druid part is obvious. but where is the shaman identity?
Well its a stretch, but this card is Battlecry, and shamans like battlecry cards, so i guess this is it
Battlecry, Heals, and Storm Chaser
prty sure that the healing value will be nerfed
Don’t forget that with double battlecry this will heal you for 10!
Initially thought it was meh, BUT then I realized this bad bish has taunt and all the sudden she looks significantly better. A chilldwind yeti with taunt baseline and potential to heal for 5? Damn that's good.
