*HEAVY BREATHING*
Mmmm I think this buddy is stronger, and with the same cost and better stats, since you won't get something until your next turn. It's stronger to just draw 2 or 3 cards I think.
Auto include in every deck idc what anyone says
I looooove it
Its official. This is the Yu-Gi-Oh expansion.
Ironic since I just got back into Yugioh when I discovered the existence of Speed Duels
Will surely be interesting.
I guess it needs to be tested if it is really that useful just to decide which card NOT to draw. You don't see what you'll get instead, so I wouldn't say it's stronger than Tracking.
But definetely a nice tool against shuffled-in bombs and the like.
Great utility in MANY decks. Doesn't feel too powerful. Nice design!
Holy molly this is bonkers! Every control deck weak in draw will use this. And it enables a hecking lot of combos and shenanigans to be viable, since now you can filter garbage from your deck for FOUR TURNS.
Possibly more, because you only lose durability when you don't want the card.
Mmmm but if you choose to not use it, you didn't use it. So, it only counts 4 turns of garbage-filtering. Although, this card can easily be exploited with Hoard Pillager for granting another 4 turns of this beauty.
This is semantics at this point, but choosing to draw a card you want to draw is still filtering
Scrying PogU
well if that doesn't scream scrying i don't know what does
This would be a draft chaff common if this were MTG. Pretty good in hearthstone tho
Edit: Actually would probably still be good in mtg but that doesn't change its standing as a Hearthstone card
This is the first card I can remember that makes reference to the bottom of your deck. Could cards shuffled be placed below it?
I'm trying to wrap my head around the programming logic. Keeping tabs on the top card is easy and intuitive, but do you think that soon the code will have to model the location of each card in the deck? For that matter, if you know your top card then shuffle cards into your deck, it would stand to reason that there is a non zero chance a shuffled card is now on top and the previous top card is now second.
This feels risky to me. I can imagine deck tracking eventually being able to know where cards are if the application does.
Doesn't "shuffle this into your deck" mean... well... to shuffle it into the deck? As in randomize the whole deck in the process?
I know Hearthstone isn't always very literal in their card texts and a digital game would allow to place a card at a random position in the deck without a full shuffle, but I'd assume it works like the wording implies anyway.
This is like scrying in other card games which have successfully done it without problems. The first type of scrying in hearthstone was tracking, I believe, and that was pretty much it. Until the Watcher for demon hunter, I don't remember another one. I'm glad they're finally inputting some of it in. Knowing what's on the bottom 4 in order won't ruin the game. It'll make decks tech more weapon removal since this expansion is looking like a weapon meta anyway with rogue and warrior cards shown so far.
tracking is not like scrying though if we look at MTG as reference, it's just one of those simple mechanics where you may look at the top x cards of your library and put 1 into your hand in the process.
