Hum, let's see Warlock plays his Imprisoned Scrap Imp and buff the cards in his hands in 2 turns. DH plays Glide turn 5...warlock loses all his buffed cards, his mulligan included and get 4 fresh ones! So, in certain situation this card will mess up aggro and mid range decks as well.
That DH just wasted turn 5 against a very aggressive deck, impacting the board with probably nothing but a 1 drop. The warlock on the other hand, dumped a bunch of buffed small minions on turn 4, (supposing he played Scrap Imp on 2).
Don't get me wrong, the card is a powerful tech card, and could probably see play and even a nerf in the future. It's just most of the tier 1 decks right now wouldn't be affected by this card at all.
insane card vs control too,you half their hand and they might be keeping a board clear too
I don't like DH but I hate all OTK combos decks. So I guess I'll play DH just to counter them...also, this will mess up many control decks. Looking forward to see lots rage quits!!
Enemy will shuffle his hand too, he won't overdraw if this is what you thought.
Just shuffle won't hurt combo that much.
I also hope for a great combo-counter. :( combo decks are the most annoying decks of the game.
Yes, but enemy will shuffle his 8-10 cards back and draw only 4...it's not about milling opponent's cards here.
I think he means you are buying more time before they reach their combo, in which case this card would be very effective.
Now that i think about it -- Turn 3 Mana Bloomx2, Kealthas, Eye of the Storm shaman might not hate you for playing this.
Beyond meta defining. Control takes one to the groin. I can't wait.
I agree that this card is crazy, but in standard there aren't any good combo decks at the moment(maybe spell druid), so this card mainly punishes the created by Meta(Priest/rogue/kinda warrior/kinda paladin). It will probably hurt wild quite a bit, but they rarely nerf cards for wild so I'm not sure how hard this will hit standard to merit how hard it might get nerfed. Part of aggro's game plan is not spending mana on drawing cards(which Skull of Guldan does) and here you do spend the 4 mana... Running this in your deck will make you a counter control deck which makes you weaker to aggro so it has a downside. I do wanna see this card in action, I do wanna see how it affects the Meta... I'm tired of some things just being flat uncounterable.
but on the other hand I'm a control player so I hope there are some powerful cards to help make it not an all aggro meta.

SMH
guys I understand your concerns however, I don't think this card will be a problem, in fact I don't think this will even be played.
dont hate but I think such a different card is actually good.
If its only to prevent OTK decks, then it will STILL be Meta Defining. Take into consideration that we will have THIS particular card around for quite a while now, and it basically prevents Future Card Design, as it always will be THE go-to hard counter against Combo decks.
Welp I guess I'm glad. I needed something really obviously cancerous to keep me from preordering this time. Helps that it's DH. I'm still on the fence but really lost joy in the game over the past year and bigtime since DH.
Damn, how to kill a release....
even trump custom card reviews have better designs than this shit
lmao true
Ok, after i saw this card i tried to stay calm and wait for other opinions before i start ranting about Blizzard. I read most of them and i am happy most of you realize what an stupid card this is, but unfortunately not everyone. So i want to point the problems out again and summarize it all.
This Card has insane potential. Imagine an Aggro DH Deck with alot of low cost stuff which all wants to go in your face. Its not hart right? Ye because you played against this for the last 3 month. You play cheap stuff the first three rounds, turn 4 this filthy card into 4 new ones. Maybe a Skull of Gul'dan in between. Turn five more cheap stuff to make its outcast active into more spam turn 6. The principle behind this should be very familiar to you aswell.
And on the Other side we got a controll/combo deck. These Decks dont do very much in the first few turns except maybe some sort of reaction to the enemy board or playing cards for drawing/value generation. So you normally end up with a pretty filled hand turn 4/5 and wait for the point to start in. But if your oponent plays this turn 4 its absolutly devestating:
Then, as you said, more midrange decks will rise and control decks will go down, history speaks for itself. Though i don't know if this card will not be nerfed or not, i think it's good to put an end of this "created by" meta
Nobody cares dude...it's going to run braindead control decks in wild and that's enough.
