Simple answer, box. They should have nerfed box instead smh >:[]
Rogue's Galakrond nerf is so unjustifiable. They are already struggling in leveling it up. Praise Galakrond and Seal Fate is hard to be placed since there is condition unlike the other classes. So rogue has to depend on the neutral card to level it up.
And often they have too many cards in hands that's expensive or fill with lackeys. So drawing 4 cards and cost 1, will literally make it harder to empty their hand.
Thanks Blizzard. I have no idea why you are nerfing deck that's already hard to play to make it even worse. Why not nerf Paladin too and make them literally unplayable as well while you are it?
Because every single rouge deck is exactly the same, give or take a bit of stealth and secrets. Its boring and stale as anything. Rogue has had a good run with it, its time for a change up.
What do you expect rogue deck to be? The new expansion literally give rogue crap card. The only legendary card that give rogue boost Shadowjeweler Hanar got nerf within weeks. Hasn't the team 13 learn anything about rogue and secret? Don't even get me started on stealth.
So I don't see what's wrong with Rogue running only Galakrond deck.
Why we don't we see the rest of the deck that we see in rank?
Druid - Spell druid.
Hunter - Highlander dragon
Mage - Highlander dragon
Paladin - Pure paladin
Warlock - Quest warlock
Shaman - Evolve shaman
Warrior - Bomb warrior
Priest - Galakrond priest
Demon Hunter - tempo demon hunter
Go and take a look at the stats. And let me know why Rogue Galakrond need to be nerf till it's unplayable http://metastats.net/rank/legend/patch/
The only unplayable Galakrond. Shadowstep [/card]and [card]backstabfor 1 mana.
Dragonqueen players have nothing to cry about.
Turn 10 has a solid 8/8 body with a another 8/8 or a 4/12 powerhouse in one turn, plus another dragon.
The mages do. The deck already struggles as is, and the deck relies on having those insane tempo swings to win their games. Hunter will probably be fine, though.
Maybe the deck is not that good if it only can win by insane, overpowered RNG? :D
I'm oddly okay with the Warglaives nerf simply due to the fact that the typical deck has an awful lot of 5 drops already and only one or two 6 drops...
Also, can we bring Renew into line with the other discover mechanics where it's far more unlikely to discover another Renew from the effect? Emerald Explorer too while you're at it.
oh man, you're right., fucking quest warlock is just dominating the meta!....
And then i wake up
rogue ded KEKW
Reading the comments and game knowledge of hardstuck gold players is very enlightening at the end of a days work!
Overall, I like the nerfs besides the Druid one, that one doesn’t accomplish much of anything imo.
9k+ dust for me and that's just with extra copies......I just laugh...pays to have a complete collection thanks blizzard
Huge nerfs, i think they are really reasonable, all of those cards are super broken, super value makers..Wondering why Priest is untouched, will see in further expansion i guess, but really happy about these changes^
Is this a singal that next expanstion will be delayed?
probably not, thay said this are changes made aswell thinking in next expansion, so i would imagine that they will announce it somewhere beetween this week and next one, probable after nerfs hit
They are nerfing cards so you will buy packs for the next expansion.
There is a grain of truth to this. They have been play testing the new expansion and they’re seeing that these cards are overpowered when in that new environment.
anyone thinking the nerfs will hit DH really hard? I think the Kayn nerf doesn't matter. The Weapon or Meta has an impact - still playable or would you replace?
Problem with DH is that they don't really have the depth of cards TO replace anything. DH only has 45 cards total. Other classes have 20+ cards more to choose from.
It was needed to tone DH down, but without 15 cards from the next expansion, DH is kind stuck for replacements right now or really to try other styles of play than Tempo.
Blizzard introduced DH to the world saying there were 3 envisioned types of play: Weapons and face damage, Token strategy and Big Demons. Only the first archetype worked and it worked WAY too well. I hope they can round out the choices for DH a bit more with the upcoming expansion so that we can maybe see other sides of Demon Hunter.
@xskarma There are viable Midrange and Controls DH decks. Zalae plays em on stream.
DH with his limited pool has more playable cards than Paladin or Priest.
