EDIT 2: The Final Standings after the event!
Quote from BlizzardFor the climactic conclusion of the FELFIRE FESTIVAL OF MUSIC AND VENGEANCE, we’re excited to announce the return of the Battlegrounds Brawl! On June 23, from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. PT, 16 Hearthstone creators will be split into 4 teams—the Southsea Swashbucklers, Bloodsail Buccaneers, Fogsail Freebooters, and Northsea Navigators—each competing for their share of a $200,000 prize pool across 7 rounds of heated Battlegrounds action!
How it Works
Scoring: Two games will be played simultaneously in each round. Points will be awarded at the end of each round to individual competitors based on their placement and added to their team’s total point score.
- 1st place finish = 5 points awarded
- 2nd place finish = 4 points awarded
- 3rd place finish = 2 points awarded
- 4th place finish = 1 point awarded
Prizing: $200,000 in total is up for grabs! Final placement and respective prizing will be determined by each team’s total point score after 7 rounds. Each team’s total number of 1st place finishes will be the primary tiebreaker.
- 1st place team = $20,000 per member
- 2nd place team = $12,500 per member
- 3rd place team = $10,000 per member
- 4th place team = $7,500 per member
Where to Watch
Battlegrounds Brawl: Pirates & Mayhem will be broadcast live on the official Hearthstone Twitch and YouTube channels, with participants streaming their own perspective to their respective channels as well.

So you didn't talk about races but you talked about racism which inherently implies the idea of different races?
Also, there are different human races but the idea of skin colors being a defining characteristic is wrong.
Yes, there is only one black player. So what? There is basically no difference between inviting black people because they are black or not inviting them because they are black. Which is exactly what you are suggesting. Inviting tokens definitely won't help the fight against racism.
"In 2021, all tournaments must have a 50/50 split of black and white players, otherwise it shall be deemed racist". I can just imagine Kripp trying to join a 20 man tournament that has 10 white and 9 black people in. "Sorry, you're not black so you can't enter. But we're not being racist, honest!"
Lol. seems like you and 12 other cupcakes don't get the irony.
They actually get rewards for playing battlegrounds unlike the players feelsbadman
Turning Battlegrounds into a $200.000,- event just feels kinda weird, might as well have them play slot machines
Yeah, to make a meaningful samplesize these games are really not relevant in showing wich team is actually the best. But it’s fun seeing familiar faces duking it out^^ .
so you can just watch all 16 streamers at the same time and be done 15 min xD Kappa
Whats that weird picture from Amaz?
Is he streaming from the Northpole or something?
RDU has been climbing like crazy these days I think his team has the best chance to win.
They all play the same thing, what are you even talking about
Implying there's even an ounce of skill involved in Battlegrounds and not just 100% RNG.
All the teams are on a level playing field because none of them have control of the outcome above positioning certain minions on the board.
They put all boomer apm in one team: Kripp, Trump and Sjow lol
Well i hope they win
If it wasn’t Trump in their team I’d say they actually have very good chances of winning.
GO TRUMP!
