Hearthstone Masters Tour Jönköping brings together the best Hearthstone players from around the world to compete for their share of more than $250,000**, out of the $3,000,000 total prize purse for 2020, and the title of Masters Tour Champion. You can catch the all of the action on YouTube.com/PlayHearthstone as they live stream the event on June 12-14 starting at 5:15 AM PDT/ 8:15 AM EDT/ 14:15 CEST/ 13:15 BST daily. Originally the event was supposed to be an in-person tournament held in Jönköping, Sweden. However, all Blizzard sponsored tournaments have been moved to an online format due to continued concerns over the Covid-19 pandemic.
The player base will consist of winners from official Masters Tour qualifying events, current Hearthstone Grandmasters, and previous top finishers in Masters Tour events. Below is a breakdown of Masters Tour stop invites.
Blizzard has doubled the number of Masters Tour events and tripled the number of relegated Grandmasters for the 2020 eSports season. Masters Tour Jönköping is the last chance for players to earn their chance to replace one of the 9 relegated Grandmasters from season 1.
**The official prize pool is listed at "more than $250,000 of the $3,000,000 total prize purse for 2020". Originally set at $250,000 per event, the prize money increased after community purchases of the Dragon Masters Bundle.

Tournament Format
Each match will be played with a 4-deck, best-of-five Conquest Format with a ban. Any participants ending with a record of 7-2 or better are automatically qualified for Masters Tour: Asia-Pacific and Masters Tour: Montreal.
- Day 1: Five rounds of Swiss pairings. Any players collecting 3 losses will be removed from the field.
- Day 2: Players with at least 3 wins on the first day will advance to Day 2. This will feature four more rounds of Swiss.
- Day 3: The top 8 players head to Day 3 and compete in a single elimination tournament to crown a champion.

The next Masters Tour event is Asia-Pacific Online and will be held July 16-19. Season 2 of Grandmasters begins in August and will feature 9 new players to replace last season's relegations.
