I always play the brawls against my friend. It is way faster and we both could do the quests we won't do in ranked or unranked.
As I remember I played this brawl ones against other players and it took so long cause the opponents need so much time to choose. One game lasts 20 minutes or longer. So I choose the fast way.
Odd bug. I played an Envoy of Lazul and it didn't show me any cards from my opponent's hand.
It's for reasons like this that Hearthstone has one of the nicest free-stuff ability, ever since they allowed you to do quests and brawls against friends. If there's ever a brawl you don't want, load up one account on one device, and another account on another, and throw the match on your non-main account.
Brawlhalla, another F2P game, just launched a battle-pass, and I can tell you Hearthstone looks like a saint in terms of how easy it is to get your free stuff compared to Brawlhalla.
i hate this brawl with intense passion rip pack, CAN THIS MoTHERFUCKING GAME Do ANYTHING THAT WoNT PISS ME oFF, FUCK LIFE
One of my favourite brawls - it isn't quite the 'Dominion' brawl (where you get coins, chickens and a couple spare parts) which I prefer due to the unique interactions from cycling your deck (ie. how good Fel Reaver and Deathwing are due to getting the bad cards out of your deck - just like Chapel in Dominion) - but it's pretty good.
There's certainly a degree of RNG, but beyond someone rolling really high (or really low), it's a good test of decision making; whether you go for current tempo (which is often a good choice) or sacrifice it for some really good tempo or value on later turn.
Ah, my favorite brawl. The brawl that separates bad players ("Another RNG brawl this sux") from the ones who realize that this is the most skill-testing brawl out there. Unfortunately for some, you have to be able to recognize strong vs weaker cards, to be able to know when to go for tempo vs greed, to know how to answer opponents threats, to know when to control the board or go face, to know how to maximize the best out of weak cards, to know how to maximize synergies. Yeah, this is a total RNG-fest.
Anyone who does well in Arena will clean up on this brawl. Anyone who thinks they are good but keep losing to RNG in arena will, for some odd reason, lose to RNG a lot in this brawl too.
The only thing that sucks about this brawl is that it takes a while. That, I will give you. But I wish this brawl was its own game mode.
Another shitty rng brawl.
Demon Hunter Brawl!
Everyone plays Demon Hunter! Win if you get Coilfang Warlord more often than your opponent!
This is even more boring than the murloc one.
Far and away the best of the "random" brawls.
worst brawl ever don't do this shit again plz
blad these brawls never gimme legendaries swer the fuk down
Heh. Got lucky: turn 5 Fel Reaver. Super OP.
I picked Demon Hunter cause I still had 1 game on a DH quest left. Basically got to pick a constructed deck that way, including an Altruis that my opponent couldn't kill.
I would have felt sorry for my opponent, but I had a win to get for my pack. xD
Isn't this basically the same as one of those discover or Raven idol brawls?
didn't you have to spend mana on raven idol?
