can we start up an off meta fun deck highlight each week please? i don't play hearthstone to grind to legend every month or play the best deck every game. i "try" to play hearthstone for fun but it seems to be getting harder to do so. no matter what mode whether it be standard or wild i just seem to always get stuck playing against the same decks. i don't mean to point fingers but sites like this one and hs replay seemed to have sucked the fun out of this and every other card game.

We occasionally did a "Friday Fun Decks" but it usually didn't get much attention and, quite honestly, these latest 2 sets have also not featured many "fun" cards, like Mogu Cultist or Desert Obelisk that really inspire much fun.

What's left over then for fun decks if we do a feature like that is just decks that aren't played much or don't draw much interest to be played or just have terrible winrates even if winning with them is hilarious when it happens.

That's hard to get people to really buy into and support in a general sense, even if there are pockets of players who really enjoy them.

As always when people bring up things, I'll chat with staff and brainstorm a little and see if there's anything we might be able to do. :)

It's cheaper in the sense of you can craft OP cards that will see play for ever in the format, and will be almost inamovible.

In standard, every new expansion basically changes the meta a lot which means you're going to have to craft a lot of cards. This can get really expensive. Wild doesn't see these meta shifts as often which means you get more value out of a card you craft. Even jade druid, cubelock, and raza priest from back in 2017 are still tier 1.

So... What's the criteria for highlighting these particular decks? Control warrior, Murloc DH and Silence Priest over their actual meta counterparts?

I posted about this last week as well: these are the highest upvoted decks for that particular class for that particular week for that particular game mode (Wild or Standard).

We try to do 2 articles each week, this one with upvoted decks (the community vote) and one with Meta decks that were curated by staff to include the best regardless of upvoting or guides.

And currently we are in the middle of the Grandmasters season which means we have a post with decks from featured Grandmaster players on Sunday night/Monday morning as well, for 3 posts a week with a variety of sources where you can find good decks. :)
