17.2.1 Patch Notes - Balance Changes & Bug Fixes
Blizzard has just announced patch notes for patch 17.2.1 featuring Balance Changes and Bug Fixes.
The patch will be released on May 18.

Balance Updates
Old: [Cost 2] 2 Attack, 3 Health → New: [Cost 1] 1 Attack, 3 Health.
Old: [Cost 5] → New: [Cost 4].
Old: 4 Attack, 6 Health → New: 5 Attack, 6 Health.
Old: 6 Attack, 3 Health → New: 6 Attack, 5 Health.
The 8 cards below will be eligible for a full dust refund until June 1.
Old: 6 Attack, 7 Health → New: 6 Attack, 5 Health.
Old: 2 Attack, 1 Health → New: 1 Attack, 1 Health.
Old: Draw a Beast. Give it +3/+3. → New: Draw a Beast. Give it +2/+2.
Old: 1 Attack, 5 Health → New: 1 Attack, 4 Health.
Old: Battlecry: If you control a Secret, return a minion to its owner’s hand. It costs (2) more. → New: Battlecry: If you control a Secret, return a minion to its owner’s hand. It costs (1) more.
Old: Dormant for 2 turns. When this awakens, give all minions in your hand +2/+2. → New: Dormant for 2 turns. When this awakens, give all minions in your hand +2/+1.
Old: 6 Attack, 8 Health → New: 5 Attack, 8 Health.
Old: 3 Attack, 3 Health → New: 2 Attack, 2 Health.
Game Improvements and Bug Fixes
Ethereal Conjurer will now function correctly and will no longer lock the game state when played.
Is there a search phrase you can use in the collection to find which cards have been nerfed? Like how typing "missing" shows you cards you don't have.
I don't think these cards needed a buff. They made good cards better, I'd prefered to see junk cards made good.
Also, they should have dealt with the Priest. It's a pain to play against "it".
When I'm playing Rogue, it's often like this too, but my opponents miraculously never have such problems. Never EVER had an opposing Rogue not either Backstab, 3 dmg lackey creating spell or EVIL miscreant in the beginning. Honestly it felt like I saw the coin into EVIL Miscreant or Backstab into EVIL Miscreant every game vs. Rogue in the beginning. That's when you know you will be behind the next couple of turns, no matter what. Well, maybe I should' ve tried DH earlier too, but I just couldn't play it as EVERYONE and their mother was playing it and nonstop mirrors are just boring.
Btw my prediction for the meta after the nerfs: Rogue still supreme, DH powerlevel clearly down so winrates will drop by a lot. Warrior is a toughie, of course it's getting weaker but maybe still Tier 1. Regarding the Hunter nerf, I don't get it, Scavenger's Ingenuity isn't a problem in Standard. In Wild, no clue, but there is much more broken stuff floating around there. I guess Blizzard is afraid of charge beasts getting out of hand.
So, in conclusion, Priest will reign superior as the top tier 1 deck. If this truly will be the case and we are going to have even more priests players... well, rip fast and entertaining games then.
Priest meta = Boring, annoying, tedious meta

I don't think (and hope with all my heart) priest will be tier1 king of all the decks. It just doesn't have enough draw to reliably beat strong decks like highlander hunter.
Also, Scavenger's Ingenuity was pretty busted as a 2 mana card. Just compare it with Call to Adventure. You pay 1 less mana and get +1+1? That difference is just completely bonkers. I never understood how they printed the card with +3+3 in the first place.
And while the card itself is already alot better, the synergies are also alot better. Getting charge minions, rush minions, deathrattle (porcupine) minions,... when you think about it, it shouldn't be a problem to see the card was busted with +3+3.
when the full dust rebound start ??
No, that doesn't make sense since it won't work. The "no duplicate" rule takes into account all the cards that you have owned before. So disenchanting them doesn't remove them from the pool the system thinks you have.

lurker below... why not buff him to 6/4 first and check how that goes? they can always buff again.... this is now quite the strong fire elemental (though it misses the elemental tag :P)
or torrent: reduce to 4 mana, but make the cost reduction a 2. see how that goes and buff further later. not understanding blizzard's thinking here...
i agree on pretty much all the nerfs though. solid choices though sigil runner is a massive nerf. making it a 1/2 at least would be ok, imo....

Hi Guys,
for the purpose of increasing your dust, does it make sense to get dust refund (at least for normal and rare cards), and then buy new packs using gold and utilise the no duplicate rules (my normal and rare collection are full for latest expansion).
My gold seems to be idling, while it seems a long way to the next expansion.

Demon Hunter is already complete shit in arena looking at the win rates, and now a 3rd round of nerfs? Guess they could have just not released DH yet and try to put more work and time into before dishing it out.
Also I don't get why people are still complaining about DH, testing the class atm and trying out the best versions, but it outright loses to Warriors, 0% chance and has trouble against Rogues, because Rogues always have Backstab, lackey creators, etc and just outtempo and outvalue you.
Tho I gotta say my draws are 90% awful after around 35 games. Only had the 4 drop into 5 mana priestess a couple of times and my hand is mostly clogged up. EDIT: It's amazing how nearly every DH i met had 4 drop into 5 mana priestess, i need to learn this power. Well, not anymore, it's already nerf day after all.
For me the REALLY awful and disgusting playing experience, regardless of the deck I'm playing, is Rogue. Seriously, endless lackeys pulling out random shit out of their ass. This is such a clownfiesta every game, you just feel like watching a series about slow murder.
I play rogue and I can only partly agree. Rogue can just stomp even the aggro deck or completely outvalue heavy deck. But many times you just end up with hand locked with 4-5-6 mana cards and you will usually concede when you get the mana to play them.
How about fixing unsolvable due to card changes Boomsday puzzles? It's been an issue for a while for new and returning players, and a promise was made. Good to see another DH nerf tho

lmao only 6600? I' getting over 8000 dust and still keeping the golden copies of ALL nerfed cards. I've been waiting for the nerfs since release day and once again those 380 packs I opened just keep paying off. Not to mention I have golden copies of all the buffed cards too.
This set has been a complete dust boon for players who actually support the game by buying packs. More free golden legendaries to add to the collection! A 1600 dust cost golden shadowjewler never felt so good.
Dude, you realize only cards moved to HoF get full dust refund AND you keep the card? Otherwise (with nerfs/buffs) you just disenchant the card for full value, but you lose it and then you still have to spend the full dust for a new card. So no "profit" there bruh...
