Game Improvements and Bug Fixes
Ethereal Conjurer will now function correctly and will no longer lock the game state when played.
already been stated by the devs somewhere on twitter, that once you recieve the card it counts as collected forever no matter if you disenchant it.
I understand that, however i also read that it counts cards as they are pulled from packs. If you craft certain cards they where never pulled from packs.
Boy, those 9+ copies of priestess of fury are gonna test so sweet...
The problem isn't the hero power, IMHO. It's the fact that they have all the things: card draw, lifesteal, silence, tempo cards, charge (that ignores taunt, really. The only class in the game that has that?!?)...and more. Seriously, what doesn't the class have? I know that many of the cards have conditions, but those conditions, as evidenced by win rates, are easy to meet. It's particularly bad with Odd DH in Wild. Yes, I'm salty. Not, I'm not just whining (to those who would as I am). The class is broken. I am glad they are tweaking as the season(s) go on.
broken? give me break, it loses to warrior and hunter most of the time
Seeing the Paladin (Buff) got me like
Problem wih dh is hero power and warglaives of azzinoth. I hope they get addressed in future too.
Can't go face, isn't an elemental, and is a one of, but generally yah it's better.
It's better by a wide margin. Being able to tutor with crystology, curve into Hand of Adal, and cost 1 less (allowing cheaper discounts), and the fact that it cost 1 mana in a deck that really has no good 1 drops, this change is huge.
Totally agree with this huge change to aldor attendant! Finally a good 1 mana drop to be on a tempo race against aggro decks. Sometimes playing nothing on turn 1 (those sleeping murlocs costed me dozens of games) cause you real trouble. Next season will take a push with pure pally.
Probably. I'm optimistic this will help Paladin, but not certain. 1/3 is smaller than 2/3, even if it is cheaper, and I'm willing to wait and see. That's it.
Well mind that Demon Hunter will be getting more cards in the next expansion and they want to tune it down a bit gradually, i suppose.
I'm glad we are finally getting a balance patch but a few of these are a bit confusing. The change to Bloodsworn Mercenary doesn't do much as its value is in the battlecry. Also, Bloodboil Brute wasn't a problematic card and reducing one attack doesn't seem like a big deal. Maybe i'm missing something here.
Blackjack Stunner shouldn't increase the cost of the minion at all but this is better than nothing, i suppose. Shadowjeweler Hanar becoming easier to kill is nice though.
We will finally be able to kill Priestess of Fury reliably. It's about time. Crimson Sigil Runner doing one less damage also helps a lot in the early game.
The change to Imprisoned Scrap Imp isn't great since the core of the buff is the attack value. It makes trading worse but it won't stop the abuse with Charge minions. Scavenger's Ingenuity was a cool card for combos and Rush cards but Stonetusk Boar is still around and causing problems so the card needed to be changed, unfortunately.
The buff to Aldor Attendant is a big deal. A 1 mana 1/3 is pretty good and it curves nicely into Hand of A'dal. This change is going to be more relevant than the previous buff.
The Lurker Below was a good card already and making it a bit more resilient is nice. The change in cost for Torrent is interesting since you are more likely to cast a spell on turn 3 than 4. Shattered Rumbler still suffers from a bad curve but at least you can play it for the stats.
i think they made it so that torent is on pair with winged blast ehrr Wing Blast??
Bloodboil Brute was pretty insane.
yes bloodboil was so insane... its 1 of the best warrior card... getting 6/8 stats for 0-2 cost is worst then 7/7 for 4....
I'm going for 1k DH wins. Now the warrior matchup gets even tougher. Why the heck didn't they nerf Risky Skipper to 2 health?
Because you can't just have favourable win rates against every single class. You seem upset that DH has only one weakness.
Nah, I only stated that the card does to much for its mana cost. A 1 mana 1/3 is already vanilla value. By regarding the current warrior cards, it has basically no downside hurting your minions while clearing your opponents board.
Nerfs and buffs that will not impact the game at all. Well done Blizzard.
