Posted May 9, 2020 (Second DH Nerfs)I simply can't get over the fact that DH exists. It's not hating or anything, but somehow it 100% ruined Hearthstone for me. It's hard to explain. I haven't touched HS since the first few days of the xpac. It's just not the same nor will it ever be the same anymore.

The solution for laddering is simple: a class ban mechanic - let the aggro lovers play aggro games and control lovers play control games.

A 2/6 taunt should be worth 3.5. Deadly Shot on a deathrattle should add 1.5 mana of value, and that's where you get 5 cost. Balanced.
Priest makes it OP because of so, so many resurrections.

Posted May 8, 2020 (Second DH Nerfs)Im curious...what is the criteria that the mod here uses for a 'hot' deck? Some of the decks in this article don't have guides, are new uploads or don't even have that many upvotes to them so they're clearly not 'community favorites'. And 3 of these decks are repeated from the 'Meta Decks' post from earlier this week and uploaded by the mod himself, not 'community decks'. IMO there are many more decks that deserve spotlights here that aren't shown.
Props to the creators of these decks tho! They all do look fun :)

Posted May 8, 2020 (Second DH Nerfs)It's fairly simple. We feature 2 decks for each class, with 1 for standard and 1 for wild. We look at what decks have gotten the most upvotes in a given week AND have not been featured in this same Hottest decks post series previously. If there's a tie in upvotes, we make a decision ourselves on which deck to feature.
There's exceptions to this basic outline. There are times we may decide to not feature the highest voted deck. It is basically up to us to make that decision, but pretty much always that reason will have to do with the account in question being warned for voting fraud or something else or even outright banned.
All things being equal we try to give the benefit to decks that have a good guide or are known to be highly competitive, cause that's usually what gets decks upvoted in the first place.
