Ashes of Outland Meta Decks - Post Nerfs Edition
Roughly a week after the second nerfs of Ashes of Outland went live we present the best and most played decks we could find. The meta is still heavy with Demon Hunters, and Hearthstone Grandmaster bloodyface said on twitter yesterday he thinks it's the best deck. Check out DH and the other decks we found:
Demon Hunter
Run from it, dread it, Demon Hunter arrives all the same. Still the most consistent decks in the game right now, but definitely beatable too.

Rogue remains strong. There's still some debate about whether to run normal Galakrond or Highlander version. Let us know which one you prefer!

Here we have Risky Skipper Warrior or Eggro Warrior or Battlerage Warrior or, for some variants, Bomb Warrior. This deck has so many names and variations! Let us know which name you think the deck should have in the comments!

Almost Meta
Priest, Mage, Hunter all have decent win rates, but they can't quite consistently beat the top decks. Druid is still around too, but has fallen off since the Kael'thas Sunstrider nerf.

Can all yall salty sailors get the f*ck out of the comment sections and just open your own thread. I'm just trying to read comments about the OP's content. Comments like how these decks are working for others or substitutions that they may have made, not a bunch of crybabys posting their opinions where they dont belong. Thanks and happy climbing.
7 mana 6/7 should not be allowed
Dude the entire DH Class was pretty much entirely free, you had the chance to craft the only 2 legendaries you'll ever need in this expansion, being Kayn Sunfuryy and Metamorphosis.
Not having 3200 Dust available to be competetive is one hell of a lazy excuse. Also predicting that SHAMAN and Paladin out of all classes would be anywhere near competetive in this meta makes you an atrociously bad gambler as well, and thats still a collosal understatement.
3 classes for the rest of your life
- Rogue
- Demonhunter
- Hunter
I stopped playing the day Ashes of Outland released because it was clear that Hearthstone was heading for a nosedive. To no surprise, a lot of my friends stopped aswell. Some of them still play BG, but after they introduced that nasty, Call of Duty- looking pass system, I ditched it all together.
I come to Hearthpwn every now and then to see if anything changed, but to no surprise, the meta is stale as the first day of the expansion. DH is still very much alive and shutting down any fun people may have in their games. The only real viable deck for priest is STILL Ress priest (Don't tell me nothing aboult highlander priest. I am a priest main and know it all too well) and hunter still has 5 decks in tiers 1 and 2.
I thought picking up another card game but the truth is Hearthstone is far and away the most polished one so I guess I'll stick with singleplayer games again because I simply cannot enjoy HS anymore.
He guess what highlander priest works. Here I am telling you about it.
Ha ha - good for you - I play Heartshtone like never & I finally reached legend for the first time: with Rouge. Without even touching Demon Hunter
I enjoy this game like never before!
I play a wild zixor hunter highlander with zuljin it is pretty good and fun👍
Can you share the deck please?
I understand that decksharing is fun and all but damn at d5-d1 every second game is DH deck from this post (I even had 4 in a row once). Already sick and tired from t5 Priestess of Fury.
skull of gul'dan is still not ok..
Welcome back to roguestone. I said ever since the cards were revealed that eventually people would just stop experimenting with rogue and just go back to the same op galakrond rogue list with no new cards
TBH the Highlander Rogue has 11 cards from the new set, the tempo one 7. (from the lists above)
So both of them exchanged roughly 1/3 of their deck.
Is it the same archetype(s)? Yes. Is it unchanged? Definitly no.
I'm not playing rogue but the new (old) secrets and especialy the legendary is pretty fun and interesting.
Do you only have cards for those classes, or just refuse to be competitive?
When you are F2P, you can't afford to invest your dust recklessly and you have to focus on 2-3 classes.
This, exactly. I'm F2P because I'm not giving Blizzard any more of my money (and don't have any to spend right now even if I wanted to.)
Soo... The first thing I said.....
Right... I can see why my comment was downvoted... So many reasonable people.
And the only classes I play are Paladin, Shaman, and Warlock...
You gotta diversify your bonds N%#$@
As of right now Murloc Paladin is top dawg Tier 1 on https://hsreplay.net/meta/ with a 56.35% win rate.
Thats for bronze to gold though, at diamond-legend it has a 52%WR and is listed as tier 2
