Quote from BlizzardCelebrate the Year of the Dragon!
Commemorate a fiery year of all things good (and E.V.I.L.) with the Year of the Dragon Bundle! With card packs that venture from the underbelly of Dalaran to the sands of Uldum and even the chilling skies above Dragonblight, you'll want to sink your claws into this bundle before it goes up in smoke. Buy the Year of the Dragon Bundle to add 10 Rise of Shadows card packs, 10 Saviors of Uldum card packs, 10 Descent of Dragons card packs, and 15 Year of the Dragon card packs to your collection.
they could have named it standard bundle and include all standard expansion packs...i didnt pre order, because i couldnt afford it..i dont know how i am supposed to keep up with the game if the only way to buy new packs is doing a quest every day.I know it's something they do every year, but another thing they do every expansion is selling bundles with packs that doesn't include the newest packs..this is pure cheat and doesn't help those who didn't pre-order build a collection or play competitively
I understand, i couldnt buy it neither, but that is how it works, with luck the earliest the we'll see a bundle with this packs after next expansion hits, and, i would love to get more preorder prices, with less packs, but cheaper. That would help a lot people that cant pay much to get packs.
only 2 legendaries, around 4 or 5 epics and a total of 1800 dust
Well it's actually a very good result. 2 legendaries from 45 packs is below average, but you opened packs from different sets, so the pity timer worked differently for each of them. I would be surprised if I got even one legendary here 😅
You know, when I was still new to HS. I always get wrong answers like this. Shame on you for misleading newer players.
That’s why I mentioned ‘to my knowledge’. This was new for me as well. People are free to correct me, in fact, please do. Hardly meant as misleading.
Had some good luck with this pack, pulled 6 legendaries, one of which was golden!
Wtf
3 legendaries, 14 epics and 560 dust
got three legendaries. one pack had two legends with one being golden so I was a little shocked.
this set is a great way to fill out your missing rares and epics from old sets now with the new duplicate changes in effect.
on my country it costs 4,5$ of my local coin
hard pass.. thank you very much though
Great value. Now Blizzard, please keep offers like this rolling and stay away from Heroes Bundles, Card Back Bundles, Battlegrounds Pass. I am fine with people that pay getting exceptional dust/$, but I am not very happy when Blizzard paywalls too much of the skins or an entire game mode if we talk about Battlegrounds. But I digress, so again, great value. Buy this if you still need normal or rare cards from that sets, or even just a few specific epics that you would want. Even without that, it's a great deal in terms of dust/$ even if they are old expansions.
I also like Heroes Bundles and Card Back Bundles! Can't we have all? ;)
Only got 1 legendary but still super high value overall.
Same here :/ At least it was Veranus.
I topped with some of my saved gold to nullify the pity timer of each pack from last year since I won't be buying any of these anymore.
Nice but i have less money than ever. so, bad for me.
I agree, phenomenal value. But alas, people will still complain. “Why aren’t there any AoO packs, that’s dumb!’’ “No cardback or alternate hero, such a ripoff!” Just to name a few.
That is because it is kind of iffy, 10 packs is very early into the pity timer for legendaries so it is unlikely that you get very many good cards from these. It's ok if you need dust though I guess.
Probably a dumb question - but does the legendary in the first 10 packs apply to the Year of the Dragon pack?
