17.0.2 Balance Patch - DH Nerfs and Millhouse Changes - Now Live!
The changes we posted about last week are now LIVE. Restart your battlenet app if you do not pick them up. You can find the balance changes listed below:

- The Lurker Below is now properly tagged as a Beast.
- Fixed a tracking issue that prevented 500 wins with Demon Hunter from being achieved.
- Fixed a bug where Zephrys the Great would not offer a lethal option if your hero had a large amount of Attack.
- Zephrys the Great has been updated to accommodate the Sacrificial Pact and Glaivebound Adept changes.
Jesus man even Altruis??
The problem with Altruis is not the mana cost... The problem is that it is a far superior Wild Pyromancer that also hit's face and not his own minions. It's the reason DH is a problem, combined with Skull of Gul'Dan. Change it so it can't hurt face (and 3 mana cost 3/2) and Skull of Gul'dan 7-8 mana.
I had 17 bad luck things and just got 1500 dust for those. deal with it.

It looks like DH will have a 3rd round of nerfs until next expanion, these nerfs are a joke.
I predict 5 rounds of nerfs before they have a 50% winrate.
That "buff" to paladin is laughable....at least its something i guess
Even as a frequent mage player, I'm most excited about the Open the Waygate nerf to make control decks slightly more viable against it. I also like the Kael'thas nerf because of Psychmelon .
I just wish they would update some classic and standard cards since the entire game has shifted so much, and having such a large pool of dead cards is not making the game more rich.

Mage Quest should had been changed to 10 spells.....

I remember Blizz acknowledging the <Beast> tag needed to be on The Lurker Below before release.
I suspect that other nerfs and changes we have seen so far have only been numbers changes, while these changes involve actual card text and tags. They are probably 2 different processes where 1 requires more actual intervention than the other.
In our DB too, it's easy to change the numbers, but changing the actual card art is quite a bit more involved, so would not be surprised if the same is true for changes like adding a "beast" tag to The Lurker Below.
Unpopular opinion: I like the nerfs. They did not kill a single card (well except for Bloodbloom) and that was their goal as they told many times.
Yet they killed some cards with nerfs in the past.

DH was designed to be at the top this expansion.
