thank you for being reasonable. So rare in this f** up divided world ...
Great nerfs, think the Paladin buff could have gone further though. Good progress for the game all round.
Thats the problem, if they made Libram of Justice 4 mana that would contradict their "Nerf" of Equality previously. This was their only option unless they reverse the nerf on Equality which in my opinion wasn't justified.
They could have buffed equality to 3 mana though. 4 is pretty steep for the effect.
yea totally, in order to board clear you still need a combo and then wait till 6 mana at least?
The 2 mana nerf to Equality was pure idiocy and you can easily trace the decline of all control Paladins to it. It should cost 3, now that their odd/even legendary mistakes are gone from standard.
Yeah, because fuck wild, right? Think before writing...
Equality is a base set card, it wont go away ever, so they have to balance every single upcoming expansion around it. Base set cards are supposed to be not optimal for that point (except for fucking Demon Hunter, whose base set cards will be nerfed in every upcoming patch for the next year or so).
Librams will go away from standard in 2 years, they don't have to plan every upcoming expansion around them.
Fair enough, so do you oppose the nerf to 4 mana or do you conditionally think it could've been good at 3?
It was definitely too overpowered for 2 mana, every single paladin deck ran it for many years. 4 mana may have been an overkill, but even at 3 mana it could have been contradictory to their new "Big minions are here to stay" gameplay plan (with all those silence removals, Hunters Mark nerfs from 0 to 1 to 2 mana ((and Equality is basically an AOE hunters mark), BGH nerf from 3 to 5 mana etc). Paladin in his current state is a tempo-rush class, spell like equality just benefits this archetype too much.
You think it would be broken in Wild? Odd Paladin is barely a factor in Wild. Play the game before writing.
And the "well base set cards are not supposed to be optimal" argument is a load of garbage because there's still TONS of premium base set cards included in almost every deck. Come back to me when Frostbolt, Fireball, Voidlord, Backstab, Shield Slam, Brawl, Twisting Nether, Eviscerate, Sorcerer's Apprentice, and numerous other staple cards will be nerfed to be "non-optimal" instead of Blizzard picking and choosing which classes core cards to gut via dart board.
I feel like the quest mage nerf will do nothing at all.
jaraxxus in wild is below jank/meme tier, itll never see play ever again. It is far too weak comared to guldan or galakron :)
And somehow dont think it will be viable in standard either, pretty much ever.
HEY THIS ACTUALLY HITS ZEPH ... cuz you cant hit jaraxus with sacrificial pack anymore
Only thing Lord Jaraxxus has going for him over Gul'dan is that you can possibly cheat him out with The Dark Portal. That's just a silly meme though.
Yeah... I'm not saying it'll be good right but at least is not fully dead. It will probably stay where it is unless it receives some support... however it's one of the most coolest card in the game, I hope to someday emote against my opponents who they are facing =]
Wow, compare Libram of Justice to Equality now. Equality nerf looks even more terrible by comparison.
nerfs we really need:
mana giant: 12 mana
arcane giant: 10 mana. whenewer you cast a spell while this is in your hand reduce cost of this by 1
2 possible fixes for kabal crystal runner: cost 1 less for each secret you put into play./playing a secret reduces cost of this card by 2.
explosive runes: after your opponent spends 6 mana on minions deal 6 dmg to the last minion played. overkill :target hero.
cloud prince: 10 mana 4/4: battlecry: deal 4 dmg. costs 2 less for each secret you have put into play.
book of specters: 2 mana draw 3 cards. for each spell drawn discard a card.
licensed adventurer: battlecry if you control a quest add a random 1 cost minion to your hand. it costs 0.
darkest hour: tormented ettin. 6 mana 4/4 battlecry destroy other frindly minions. recruit a minion for each.
sacrificial pact: no longer kills lord jaraxus hero.
lord jaraxus and ragnaros the firelord hero(majordomo executus) change: you are set to 15/8 health respectively and they do not remove any armor. but maximum health remains 30/40 with amara.
wild growth: 2 mana.
priestess of fury: 3/7 windfury. easier to take down. + other DH nerf that were announced.
How about a buff in coin: Always start in your hand, if you play against mage, instantly win the match..
Drink some water plz, so much salt is dangerous for your body..
