All The Demon Hunter Nerfs - Now Live!
After making an announcement earlier today, Blizzard followed up with a post with the details of the Demon Hunter Nerfs. Several cards had mana changes and Aldrachi Warblades had a durability change. There were also offering rate changes to a whole host of Arena cards. These changes are live in game now. Read all the details below!
Quote from BlizzardHey everyone,
Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll be keeping an eye on the power level of Demon Hunter. Our goal is to make changes when necessary in order to get Demon Hunter to where we believe it should be. Today, we’ll be applying the following balance updates to a few Demon Hunter cards in a server-side patch (meaning you won’t have to download anything):
- Skull of Gul'dan – Mana cost increased from 5 to 6.
- Imprisoned Antaen – Mana cost increased from 5 to 6.
- Eye Beam – Outcast Mana cost increased from 0 to 1.
- Aldrachi Warblades – Durability decreased from 3 to 2.
We wanted to get these changes out the door today, and in doing so you will only see the new stats for these cards—displayed in both red and green—in matches, not in your Collection. The red and green numbers will return to white and the cards will be updated in your Collection with a data-only patch that we’re expecting to deploy before the end of the day tomorrow.
For Arena, we’re making changes today that will see Demon Hunter class card offering rates decreased until we’re able to properly address the class with more accurate micro-adjustments in a future patch. The following cards have had their offering rates reduced in Arena:

I hope they make lots of money off you and the rest of the morons who can't see clearly.
Ah yes, it's a money thing when this was a class and deck they gave out for free. Makes sense.
As for the BG thing, if it's so minor why do you even care? Just ignore it and don't buy it. That's what I'm doing, no reason to throw a little baby tantrum over it
No f***ing Difference!
Im so done with this stupid game, 10 Games = 8 times against DH YAY. You can play as good as possible, but you cant dodge the Cards (Antaen and all yout taunts is just stupid s**t. DH pushes 25 dmg in the last turn. This is so bad, i have no words for this s**t.
The Fun-LV ist -50 i´m so dissapointet from blizzard and the team that could possible get this s**t in this game!
REDICULOUS!!!
im out
They just nerfed the class into 2nd tier at best with a high skill cap.
You're playing the wrong deck for your meta.
Oh and if you're wondering why there are so many demon hunters? Well, you unlock a lot of bonuses, gold cards and cosmetics for playing demon hunter and leveling the class... Not to mention the patch event quest asking you to play demon hunter 3x for 2 packs... Maybe has something to do with it?
Get off your high horse and wake up, game is essentially free, you won't be missed.
Dude, im playing even a counterdeck. Rez-Priest/ is the best way to play against DH.
So i think im prepared to play against this Deck. I´ve also testing with other classes, but you know, there is no diffrence.
But hey, you know what, if you think this is a balanced meta, then you maybe the one, who is on this f
**ing horse ;D
PS: I´ve played in the meantime a lil bit in Arena, so fun!! 5 Games 4 times DH ;D FUN FUN FUN
What's your win rate against priests? What version of the res priest deck are you using?
Hey,
I dont use the traker all the time, so i would guess it ´s something like 50%.
i Play this deck from the front page =
PS: My Arenarun is over 8 Games = 6 times DH 1-Mage and 1-Shamans.
Junge lern einfach mal englisch dann wäre der Welt mehr gutes getan als durch die nerfs, die im übrigen sehr gut waren
Never said it the meta was balanced, but perhaps you would benefit from playing the boogeyman and understanding the deck's functions, strategy and goals...
Once you know how it wins, you can predict it in advance and actually put a wrench in their plans.
The deck is very fragile in the sense that it can expend its resources and run out of steam very easily.
Know the deck, learn to play around it, maybe then you'll break out of wood tier.
If you were smart, you would realize they made the successful varient of the deck slow and clunky.. Perfect opportunity to exploit the masses with a swift aggro deck... but what would I know.
if your winrate is 50% then you're a bad player, sorry.
My winrate against DH is 70-80% with Highlander Mage, you should not be having that kind of problem vs DH with Priest unless you're low skill dude.
Easy +200 Dust.
AYAYA
it's true, there is no difference, it is still strong
of course, but not *as* strong, apparently...
Made absolutely no difference at all!
i wake up to have fun with otk and nerf fast coming feelsad
(O-0)
That was quick
Why isn't it life yet in the EU ???
It is life, play the game and you will see. It is just not live in the collection, but only when you play games - and that's what the text says if you read it.
