You can cheat it, but just like The Darkness, it'll come out dormant and there'll be no way to awaken it.
Just realizing now, you could even theoretically put this into zoo and have it come out on turn 5 if you have at least 3 minions, your opponent's board is clear, and you use Plague of Flames. Unlikely, and I don't think it'll see much use in zoo, but this card has so many possibilities.

to clarify some things for you:
1) In the video (no I don't have the link, check this thread) you can see the minions don't have deathrattles, THIS minion has a X/3 counter, which ticks up whenever a warder dies, so you would have to summon and kill all 3 warders to activate.
2) You would never play this in a midrange deck unless it were with some sort of combo to save you from a losing game. The situation you suggested has some issues, think about how that board would actually look. You have at least 3 minions in play that can attack, to play this the opponent would need to have 4 or less minions, meaning they have, at most 1 more minion than you do. To make clearing the whole board in exchange for this minion worth it, the exact situation would have to be that you have 3 minions in play with at least 3 attack, while your opponent has 4 minions in play that are bigger/scarier than your minions. If they have less than 4, you don't need this, you're a midrange deck, you trade, re-apply pressure, and secure the board, your deck already does this without a janky combo that GIVES YOUR OPPONENT stats. If you have less than 3 minions, you can't play it. If your opponent has more than 4 minions, you can't play it. It's too unreliable. This is a control card for sure.
so yeah, sorry for the wall of text but I promise you that you won't have to worry about seeing this in every deck. It'll go in some control decks that have a cheap (5 mana or less) way of killing all the warders in the same turn, and possibly in some more aggressive decks that swarm the board themselves as a way to close out games that dragged on for too long. It'll see some niche uses in some decks, but it won't be meta-defining by any stretch. The only decks that will actually slot this in are decks that have at least 5 cards that are good on their own, but can also easily deal with the 1/3s on the same turn you play it.
Those decks are:
-Warlock: Plague of flames, hellfire, that dragon boi that deals 3 (6 cards, all run in the same deck)
-Demon Hunter: Chaos Storm (or whatever that 5 mana spell that deals 4), that cleave weapon, that weapon that lets you attack multiple times, you probably wont run 2 copies of both weapons, so that's 5 cards.
-Shaman: Lightning Breath, Hag's Scheme. Only 4 cards, might be too inconsistent, plus hag's scheme can often clear a board on it's own so all you're doing is playing the 12/12, which isn't bad, but might not be worth the dead card in the meantime.
-Warrior: ONLY IF Risky skipper procs when you play the guy, he goes dormant, but you played a minion, so IF that counts, that deck MIGHT try him out since you'll only need to play 2 more minions for the clear, but if not then it definitely won't. Even then you're spending 4 cards for that, and you lose 3 of them.
It needs particularly 3 warders to die. If less were summoned - say bye to magtheridon=)
Enemy Warders means for the enemy ? or they just called like that and they are yours.. but that would be insane :D
For the enemy. Just 3 vanilla 1/3 guys.
Strong in Warlock and maybe DH . Don't know for the rest classes have to test.
Cool card, but too situational. If your opponent has 5 minions, it's dormant forever. If your opponent bounces a warden to their hand, it fails. If you can't destroy the wardens, it blocks up your board.
It's not the best idea to play with other minions because it clears ALL minions, meaning your opponent can purposely kill the wardens, clear the board, and single target down Magtheridon. Maeiv is incredible against it because the wardens don't come back.
Its like a worse Darkness, except at least the Candles blocked non Duplicate cards from working.

Well, with hellfire it is 7 mana twisting nether that leaves 12/12 on your side.

The 12/12 can be easily removed by any single target removal, including the new Shadow Word Death, Polymorph, Siphon Soul, Time Rip or even BGH. It also is a Demon, meaning Sac Pact is suberb (On a side note, Sac Pact is going to be incredible next Expansion and as long as Demon Hunter is semi viable). Zephrys also offers an array of options against it. I seriously doubt the competitive viability of this card
This + Hellfire or Chaos Nova for a full Boardclear with a huge "Stick" attached to it. :D
Also beautiful Res Priest counter, although we expect that deck isn't gonna be around longer.
This could easily make the top 10 most OP cards ever made. This is Meta-Defining in every way. Killing those 1/3's will not be hard and you can control when it happens. It also can rob all of your opponents tempo as he has to be aware of what he's committing to the board. Not to mention the fact that when you do wipe the board it gives you a 12/12 minion. I love the fact their is no other card like this. The only negative criticism i have is that i feel they could have done a better job with the artwork, but all in all they have been doing fantastic work with the art this expansion thus far.
I just think off, and wow bonker. Imagine combo deck just leave an 1/3 on the board and do absolute nothing, and wait for the draw. It's like checkmate.They either have to deal with their 1/3 or they deal with 12/12. They can't even swarm the board
What if an opponent doesn't have space for these 1/3 minions?
