Yep, but no deck restrictions.
The more recent mage decks run MOSTLY minions because of Luna's Pocket Galaxy. With that gone, I wonder how this kind of deck will turn out.
These are some cards I made shortly after Rise of Shadows was released. They copped criticism because "Blizzard wouldn't do that for Mage".
We reallllly need to stop this bs about people claiming they know what Blizzard will and won't do. Thes past few expansions are perfect examples of the lengths they're willing to go.

Arcane tactics is fine, Hero card is really high-rolly. Also hero power discount would stack with the battlecry. 4 Mana pyroblast is a bit much. The last spell woild be really dependant on what 4 cost mage minions are available in standart at the time, so no opinion here.
Ultimately, your suggestions are a bit extreme, though mostly just the hero card.

These look like cool cards, the only problem I have with them is they have no default state. Two of these cards do literally nothing if you don't meet the requirement. So either they should be minions, or they should be like... "add one random spell card to your hand, if you have no minions in your deck then... etc." and "Summon a random 4-cost Mage minion, if you have no minions in your deck summon 3..."

@Chaoszero I agree that the hero power should be changed to no discount, but if that's the case I'd redo the whole thing, as "add a random Mage spell to your hand" is super bland on its own.
@ShadowAldrius You're absolutely right about not having a base effect first. I didn't even think about that.

I'd love to play No Minion Mage and these cards here would make that Archetype.

Wait, what? The only spells mage has that summon minions are Power of Creation, Unexpected Results, and Mirror Image. Mage is one of the weakest classes right now. I can't imagine this working.
This is much better than you give it credit for. You are correct that a spell mage won't fly, but this card provides potential face damage and tempo in a late-game matchup. You can play this after drawing most of your deck. Also, this card contributes to Mage's threshold for direct damage. Whenever mages get a certain amount of face-damage spell potential, they have become very dangerous (remember the era of Firelands Portal).
I seem to remember people saying this about Hunter a couple years ago. Still many cards yet to be revealed.
Could work as some end game burst in a cyclone mage with apprentice, cyclone, kadghar and mana giant as the only minions, you would draw through your deck quick enough with AI and elemental allies. Of course the deck revolves around conjurer's calling lol (the 8 drop pool is actually decent right now and probably better after the rotation).
This card is interesting, but i think that this archetype will be good if mage get more spell that summon minions
Seeing the druid's draw spell for spells only, this feels like it would help that archetype more... You can run hero cards. But no minions I'm not sure man. Could be fun maybe.
