Card is pretty versatile. You can buff your own minion and save it for later vs slow decks, you can disable enemy minion with deathrattle before clearing his board or just silence taunt/strong minion.
Interesting card with new mechanic, will see play, I like it.
revived minion does not keep buffs
Wonder what the interaction Will be when you target Illidan :D
As if someone will ever play him :D
Nothing unfortunately, Illidan Stormrage will be replaced by Xavius. (Card stays the same, but new name/art.)
How do you know he'll be replaced?
Kibler confirmed it in one of his videos.

I mean come on, we even have her as a alternate Hero Skin...
Because she has more potential as a neutral?
It was my initial first impression too, but Kael'thas Sunstrider is neutral too even though he would be perfect fit to be a mage card in terms of lore, so it seems that they want to make these iconic characters neutral in this expansion.
She shouldn't be a rogue hero in the first place, she is not even a rogue. More like a mix between few classes but also her own class.
i think people misunderstand how this card works.
The choosen minion is completely locked. It’s just not in the game.cause it’s inactive and disabled.
It can’t attack, it can’t get killed, it has no effect at all, whatever it’s cardtext says.
So you can „Kill“ / „lock“ an opponent minion for two turns, like a stasis for example.
.Its possible to protect your wincon as well as you can disable the wincondition from your opponent like Malygos or Mechc‘thun or maybe you can disable a taunt as an aaggro deck.
It’s pretty versatile.
The question is: how does it work with imprisoned minions if you make them dormant again?
Of course they trigger again.
Pretty obvious that they would trigger again.
Ah yes, I read it again: they have Battlecry: go dormant. When it awakens do X. So the "do X" isn't related to the battlecry, but to the awakening indeed
I wonder if they build in an interaction when you play Maiev as Maiev?
Don't know, if this has been discussed yet. But as far as I understood the other dormant minions we had so far, I wouldn't be too sure that all card effects would still work.
Because dormant usually means inactive. While aura and other simple "presence on board" effects might still work, all the other effects (end-of-turn, stats increasing with time, etc.) could very well be suspended during dormancy.
I'm really curious how this is going to work out.
Dormant minions are effectively "banished" or "exiled," they don't exist other than taking up a slot on the board.
