After looking at the reveals for the rest of the Primes, I can safely say I can stand by my previous assessment that this card is absolute weaksauce.
Prep, Cold blood this. If your opponent doesnt have 5 damage of board clear or a taunt, 20 damage. 12 is fine as well. It can also kill 12 health worth of minions. Or use cold blood with sinister strike or the 1 mana weapon that kills taunts and does 4 damage. To combat the slowness of this card, if it needs to be combatted, use sap, sap-like cards, target removal, faceless manipulator, doompistol bully to buy a turn to play this.
The deathrattle effect makes this card pretty powerful. Imagine having some copies of this on the board.
yep, then you're playing rogue with a deck full of 6 mana 6/5s that do nothing when played.
cute card but i don't think it will see play
This is busted. If you don't have a board clear or something to deal with this like a taunt minion you will get slapped for 6 face damage repeatedly. In most situations that's about 3 turns until death
New Leeroy alternative for Rogue.
LMAO this art
I mean, everyone's talking about how board clear can kill this, but there aren't any tier 1 decks running board clear right now. The best tool any tier 1 deck has that can deal with this is Rotnest Drake. If the argument is that this is weak because it can be destroyed by board clear when the only tier 1 or 2 deck running board clear right now is res priest, the argument is that this is changing the meta so greatly that everyone will be playing decks that can deal with this.
I don't think it's strong enough to change the meta by itself, but I think it could be a strong include in either galakrond or highlander rogue. Important to note that rogue is one of the classes that can draw its prime 100% of the time with Stowaway.
It's a cool idea, but with 6 mana cost and 5 health it's pretty susceptible to AoE.
Very strong in fatigue situations though, after your opponent has expended resources, if you can push the game that far. Maybe secrets and other things will help rogue play a more controlling gameplan.
I feel like everyone is underestimating this card by A LOT. The 3/4 stealth is pretty good on it's own so worst case there's no downside to playing this and best case you eventually deal 6 free face damage per turn.
Prime is cute, but probably not too impressive. Too easy for an opponent to clear it with non-targeted effects.
Initial drop might be better than it looks. 3/4 Stealth for 3 is a pretty reasonable on-curve play.
I just wanted to make a note that when the lackeys rotate out next year, you don't know if this will join the new meta after.
Lackeys likely won't be rotating next year. The expansions that are going are Witchwood, Boomsday, and Rastakhan's Rumble. The expansions from this cycle should be staying if they keep their pattern for rotation.
I think permanent stealth is very similar to equipping a weapon of infinite durability, but instead of being destroyed by oozes and harrisons, it gets killed by AoE and untargeted stuff. You can go face every turn with it no problem, but if you're forced to trade, you really have to worry about HP.
Great on paper, but this has the Waxadred effect. You have it draw it first, then you have to draw it again. We all know how much waxadred is seen in the current meta.
you seem to be forgetting that there are 3 expansions leaving standard, and whatever is in this meta is 100% not going to be relevant in the next one
Feels badass to play until your opponent wishes for Deadly Shot.
The Prime should be 5 mana 6/6.
I'd assume that is in an attempt to turn Roque controlish, but thats just too slow at Turn 7.
a simple +1 Spell buffed Chaos Nova deals with an Akama board, if your opponent suspects what you re trying to do, not to mention by Highlander decks simply playing Zephrys there is little reason for this Prime Legendary card to see much playtime.
