This is scary regardless from where you look at it. All this secret support means rogue is either getting insane secrets that will be too powerful or the secrets will be shit and this card will be useless, not like we've seen blizzard support something one expansion with terrible cards and then completely drop it (freeze shaman ehm).
I’m excited for rogue hopefully we get good secrets it not hopefully other classes get good secrets we can take 😂
This gives me hope that there are new secrets to rogue in standard. Maybe it will be more wild if the secrets in the standard are bad.
Secret Rogue archetype looks interesting, if it gets more support such as more Rogue secrets then it might be good.
That fact that it's a six stat card for 2 mana makes it busted lol. The ability on top of it just makes it more crucial that it gets removed from the board. Which will not be easy to do if the card comes out on curve.
Exciting secret rogue archetype which fits rogues perfectly than deathrattle. I'm fine giving all deathrattle powers to Priest, just give Rogue a stronger thief, secret, shuffle synergies :)
Why is everyone freaking out about this? Only hunter secrets are worth discovering since mage ones are overcosted and paladin ones are underwhelming, you have to invest at least 4 mana into a card you're going to have to pay full price for, and we've only seen one rogue secret revealed so far. You'd need two more good ones printed before you could run a deck with any reasonable secret synergy. If Professor Putricide didn't see play, this certainly won't.
Professor putricide didn't self-fuel itself. You had one secret, you played it, you got another and that's all.
This one gives you a secret that you can play to keep the chain going. All you need is ONE secret in hand and to keep it alive. Also if they're making this card, they're definetly going to try to make it good with some Rogue secrets.
There's a difference between dedicating a deck slot to a overcosted or underwhelming secret (which, mind you, is usually also relatively easy to predict based on the class and meta), and being able to discover multiple secrets by chaining them, and in the process, force your opponent to deal with a small christmas tree of secrets. The fact is this is cheap enough, well statted enough, and provides pretty good value in the late game, means this isn't one to write off so easily.
Now the hope is that rogue actually gets secrets worth playing to synergies with this. Only having crappy secrets would not justify playing this, I think.
Arena Filler. Wont see play
oh no hes back
4/5 star card. Easily. The best Rogue legendary we've had in some time.
I'm really excited to see the remaining Rogue secrets. Hopefully this archetype gets more support this time around instead of being one and done like in K&C.
So i can play cheat death return this to hand and get a secret from it not the greatest tess support card but one i would love to play
This card is bonkers. Even though the rogue secrets are pretty darn bad, the fact that you can discover good secrets from other classes is what makes it good. 1/5 is also really stupid. Why make it so overstated when its already a good effect?
The stats are to make durable rather than powerful, it's still a legendary after all.
I don't know how can you tell rogue secrets are bad, unless you refer to wild, since the only secrets Rogue has for the moment are from K&C. If they're making this card they're definetly going to support it with Rogue secrets.
At first i thought this was really really strong. Then i read it again and noticed that it read discover instead of randomly add.
So yeah, as a 1/5 statted 2 mana minion, this is OP as fuck.
EDIT: also enjoy waiting 10 hours everytime for Rogues to finish their turn, since every card they have discovers another goddamn card
Who am I ? None of your business !!
I find the card itself gooood, but the rogue secrets determine it's playability prettyyy much. Maybe too much?
The body alone would make it a decent niche-type of a card in a Highlander deck but if the secrets are crappy enough you probably can't make a viable deck around it
As much as i love burge/tesspionage rogue, this just seems bad-ish.
Would be great if it turned out to be good.
Yes, more random rng clown fiesta bullshit crap.
Please play Runeterra it's much better.
