It’s at least as good as Cobalt Spellkin in terms of value and output. Great for arena, but maybe some more murlocs needed for standard I think.
Last 2 years I flamed every Paladin reveal, this time I will be calm. Please, just once give Paladin an Identity that fits nothing aggressive, more mid-range or control. I sincerely appreciate your hard work on making Paladin a one - two archetype but at this rate you could start inventing new tribes just for Paladin.
Please, I just want Paladin to be great again, is that a hard request?
So, paladin will each expansion receive a piece for a possible future synergy....!?!?!?!
While other classes already have everything they need, and every expansion gets more support...!?ok (-.-) "poker face"
Paladin has an identity crisis
Well... a 3/2 weapon for 3 mana is not so bad at all
I don't see Murloc Pally doing so well in standard once you can't Recruit 7 Murlocs for 1 Mana.
This was supposed to be revealed April 1 and the actual paladin card was going to be revealed April 2. Sorry, we messed that up
Its a FWA+, arena weapon for sure, but its too weak in constructed for consistent play
nice flavour
As people have said, Prismatic Lens was the only thing that made murloc paladin a thing since Tip the Scales is so expensive. With that rotating, and paladin's bad card draw, I don't see murloc taking off without more support.
But most important of all, this is proof that blizz is going to keep with last year's paladin philosophy of "throw archetypes at the wall and hope one sticks."
I like the card, but I find the power level a bit high. I mean, warrior has a 3/2 for 3 with no effect and hunter has a 3/2 with an effect that's actually awkward to trigger.
This one, however, is easy to trigger. A murloc deck might not want to play it on turn 3, but even later it is basically a 3 mana, deal 6 damage and create 2 further threats
So basicaly "Paladin" is a fighter - cleric - fisherman?
Fighter-Cleric-Fisherman-Engineer-Dragonrider-Pirate(remember Wickerflame?)-Murloc-Archaeologist-Mummy Man. Paladin is just the side job.
Beating up enemy minions with a fishing pole is for sure something I would've never expected to see in this game. Now I should probably expect there to be a new Nat Pagle Paladin legendary at some point.
Mech, control, divine shield, heal, murloc, big minions, silver hand recruits, buffs, hand buffs, dragons.
I wonder what the other 3-4 archetypes they are going to give paladin this expansion will be.
You forgot pure.
But I forgive you, since there are too many to name atm xD
I knew I forgot something. Secrets as well. I only used my fingers so ended up with 10 different archetypes. Now I need my toes to count the rest.
Jokes aside. I hope we get a fucking pure Yrel or Maraad now that we are on Outland.
Yeah, from all the archetypes they "pushed" last 2 years, pure paladin seems the most fitting and flavourful to me. Having a pure paladin legendary would be pretty cool!
We don't forget OTK, Secret, Shirvalla, Reborn quest...!? XD
Omg yes how can we forget those! :) kill me now
